We really enjoyed our stay! Self check-in was easy, and the location itself was perfectly convenient. Everything was exactly as described, and I feel quite comfortable recommending this stay to anyone!

Me and my partner have just got back from our overnight stay at Poppies place. Laura was easy to contact and she was very responsive when we asked any questions. From checking in to leaving everything was great, and instructions were clear. The room itself was cosy which we liked and it was spotless. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to others. X

We loved Hedgehog Annexe. It was easy to find and had everything we needed. Very clean, generous welcome food stuff and fabulous facilities for self catering. Easy walk to bus stop to York and to our family in Haxby. Lovely to have an outside area to sit and eat too. Thank you. We would love to return soon.

Just returned home after a short break at low tide apartment, the apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and beautifully furnished. It is situated in the centre of the town and just a five minute walk to the beach. This was our second visit to low tide apartment and we will definitely be booking another visit soon.

Sheila was so welcoming when we got to her place. The farm was a beautiful gem nestled in the Yorkshire countryside and we had no problem navigating getting from and back into York. The guest house was lovely and had everything we need. I would recommend this place to anyone who had mobility issues as everything is ground-floor and there is a large bath and shower cubicle.

Had a great few days. Scarborough still has that strong heartbeat of a British coastal town and what Debbie has done with her townhouse is credit to the community. we hope to return again very soon.

We would definitely recommend staying at Karl’s house. It was easy to find, easy to drive in and out of and had private parking behind a locked gate. We found the home very comfortable, clean and felt homey. Karl was very helpful and responsive to all our queries. It was great being able to wash and dry our clothes every day with the convenience of a clothes line as well as hoist.

Perfect location, right in the heart of Filey and 2minutes from the beach. The place is down a private drive so you're in the main town but also have privacy and it's quieter. The place was clean, cozy, and bigger than expected. The host messaged over everything we needed beforehand and checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was ok. Will definitely be booking again!

This is a lovely, homely Airbnb with a beautiful sunny courtyard garden. The walk into town is about 15-30 minutes ( depending on which part) along riverside walk. We also walked to York racecourse for Parkrun. Quiet location with on street parking.

Had a fantastic stay here. A family of 4 (2 teen boys), my brother in law and 2 dogs. Great location - an easy walk into town and very quiet too. The host was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable - lovely fresh, clean and crisp white linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Whitby.

Thank you for another excellent stay. This time we got to benefit from the coastal walks and open space straight out the back gate. Julie was a great help when my lad accidentally set off the house alarm. Within 15 minutes the alarm stopped and our day was saved as we had tickets booked! Brilliant hosting and was attentive that all our expectations were met through the break. Highly recommended and will come again if Julie will have us 🙂

We had a lovely stay at Fiona's House over the Easter holidays. The house was lovely - clean with a modern interior. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic with the beach just down the end of the road (and some steps), while the country park with access up to the Brig was only a few minutes walk away. There were plenty of shops and restaurants just round the corner. The road the house is on is a narrow dead end, so a nightmare for parking, but we always managed to find a space somewhere nearby. Overall a perfect base for exploring Filey and the surrounding beautiful countryside.

Fantastic flat and host. We arrived early and he was happy to agree to a last minute early entry. Flat is spacious, with a garden and very well appointed. Great value, friendly, responsive host and will definitely be back.

Sule sent clear instructions and local recommendations well in advance of our stay. The bed and linens were super comfortable and the kitchen had many items to help you prepare meals. The washing machine is a bonus as we are traveling multiple places. The flat is located so close to city center. Easy to walk but also easy to hop on a bus as well. York was such a lovely area and people are so friendly! We were asked if we needed help 3 times in our first 20 minutes (we did look confused as construction is happening and we had no idea where the bus would pick us up as the one nearest the train station is closed). Highly recommend Sule’s place! I hope to be back!

Fantastic place to stay! Right in the heart of stunning York. If you're wanting accommodation central of York, look no further! Apartment was immaculate, quirky decor with outside space. Had everything you needed with clear instructions. Jenny was a great host. Made sure me and the family had everything we needed throughout our stay. Parking was a huge bonus as it can get quite pricey over a few days (same as any other city center) Would happily stay again. Highly recommend 👍 Thank you Jenny 😃

Beautiful clean high quality cottage, perfect for 2 people, greeted by John and Lyndsey, such friendly hosts without being intrusive. Very welcoming to receive a some vital items on arrival like wine, milk, bread, butter, jam and more. Fabulous location in a quiet village, can only hear the birds tweeting. Perfect for walking right on the cinder track. Two pubs within walking distance. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning there some day in the future. There were some initial issues which were sorted immediately when I contacted the host. Fab communication from the host. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend for families, our son absolutely loved it.

We loved our stay at Max’s Hideaway. This was the perfect central location for everything we wanted to do in Whitby. Val was super helpful and easy to get in touch with. The apartment was clean and had lots of cosy and personal touches. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic visit and Eleanor went above and beyond for us! The location was ideal and so peaceful. I was very impressed with all the delicious extras Eleanor threw in for us and the facilities were fantastic. Thankyou so much for such an amazing experience in York made extra special by Eleanor!

We loved how Tracy's place is walkable from the train station as well as the sights in York. Modern, clean, stylish interior-loved the rain shower in bath. Great decor/artwork. Comfortable beds, nice terrace, responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!
