Goosewing Cottage Hunter Valley

Our Cottage is fully self-contained, architect-designed and immaculately presented. Please note, to minimise cost for only 2 guests, we close off the 2nd room with ensuite, when not in use so you don't pay for what you don't need. A $120 surcharge is in place for 1 couple or 2 singles travelling together and needing the 2nd bedroom, so kindly inform us if this is the case. The surcharge does not apply for 3 or 4 guest bookings. Please see Goosewing Homestead, for our larger dwelling with pool.

Dark Horse provides stylish self-contained villa accommodation near forest and beaches on the stunning Barrington Coast, NSW. Set on our 10 acre farm on the site of an old dairy, we've built a unique one bedroom retreat including some of the original timbers to create an airy open plan space opening onto views of the small valley and paddocks, picking up the sea breezes. The Hill Station is in the heart of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, immediately adjacent to the Mt. Tomah Botanic Gardens. The renovated cabin is set in an acre of gardens and is an ideal retreat for a couple. The cabin has a Living/Bedroom area with one queen bed, a sunny Kitchen and a new Bathroom. There are cafes nearby, the Botanic Gardens are a short walk, and the main towns of the Blue Mountains are 20 minutes drive away.

We are a popular choice for wedding guests with a 6 minute drive to Redleaf, Mystwood and Woodhouse and 10 minutes to Stonehurst. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.
