The guest house is completely separate and private, from our home, which is 50 feet away, and it was newly built in 2022.

The perfect little getaway situated near 2 lakes with public beaches and boat launches with in a short 3 minute walking distance a short drive to Parry sounds 7 minutes away. there’s Restaurants near by and there’s also a 24 hour convenient store/gas station near by! The locations very nice to relax and explore what the area has to offer.

Located just minutes from Burks Falls and Highway 11 it’s a convenient place to call home while you explore the Almaguin Highlands and North Muskoka.

Welcome to Trailhead Cabins. Spend time relaxing and listening to the sounds of the pine forest surrounding you. The Wolf Cabin has one main room and a screened in porch. You have a private fire pit and area about your cabin. This cabin has full king bed. In winter it's heated by a furnace and keeps the cabin warm and cozy. The Nest is a one room cabin with a screened in porch. There is a queen bed with sheets, queen pillows and comforter. Relax by the river or take out a kayak and paddle upstream to the rapids. After a BBQ dinner, enjoy smores at the large campfire pit. Meander the trails throughout the property and just be. Everything is here for a simple but soul restoring getaway. There is no shower and the toilet is in an outhouse.
