The Red Door

Our home is a four bedroomed detatched country house 3 miles from the gorgeous town of Westport on the west coast of Ireland. We have four really lovely rooms, three their with own bathrooms and gorgeous comfy beds. Great area for any outdoor activities includingy the famous Green way cycling path that can take you all the way from Westport to Achill Island. The fishing, mountain climbing, biking, kayaking, sailing etc. are second to none. If you are not into all that activity there are always the fantastic restaurants and bars to visit! It is a beautiful town set at the head of the world famous Clew Bay. We are just an hour away from the busy city of Galway. 45 mins from knock airport.

It has been sensitively renovated with wonderful features including exposed stone walls, sash windows and traditional lime plastered walls. ‘The Clock House’ beams with an authentic quirky character. It is fully modernised with fibre broadband throughout and all you need for a memorable stay in the heart of Westport town.

The Yellow House is a beautiful detached home with 5 bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, lots of living space, a large garden near the town of Westport. The Westport Country Lodge is a boutique hotel, a mile away and has excellent food and a lively bar. The House is an ideal base for touring Achill, Connemara, Galway, and Mayo. It is family-friendly and a perfect setting for evening BBQ,s. There are lovely country walks nearby. Westport has lots of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, & leisure centre.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.
