A 40 year celebration of being married. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our time together. Many highlights the hot tub view the peacock and peahen dance every night... The night flyover from the herons. Martyn was a perfect host very helpful. Perfect memories thank you.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely brilliant location with spectacular views, the cottage was very private and peaceful, host was very informative and very helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

to say eagles rest is a one in a million stay is an understatement, david was warm and friendly upon our arrival. you cannot beat the location and the view. easy to get to and so many wonderful little houses with locally made treats for sale. it was cozy romantic and we both agreed this is somewhere we would book over and over again. the home was pristine and the skylight above the bed proved for amazing star gazing at night. the hosts were wonderful and friendly. i cannot say a bad thing about eagles rest. thank you again!

Wij hebben echt genoten van het verblijf! Alles was aanwezig, werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

The apartment is extremely lovely and has everything you could want. Antony was extremely helpful. The road is a little noisy but not painfully so. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Lovely house, very well equipped and clean. Had a great few days exploring the area. Worth a visit!

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. Stunning location opposite distillery, 2 mins walk from beach and town centre. The burn running through the back runs under the road to the distillery. Former cooperman's house, still in same family. Very comfortable & peaceful. Loved it.

We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

The place was amazing, especially for Puzzle the dog! Love the fact that we had a secure garden for him to run around and the surroundings were beautiful. The house was not too far from local attractions or things to do.

Lovely place to stay. Everything you could need- especially in the kitchen. Fantastic amenities and very clean.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen aber kurzen Aufenthalt. Leider konnten wir nicht viel von der Umgebung sehen, da es durchgehend geregnet hat. aber wir konnten dafür das Apartment voll ausnutzen und es uns dort gemütlich machen, wofür es auf jeden Fall gemacht ist.

Had a fantastic stay here after exploring Ben Nevis, Glencoe, and the surrounding area. The place was spotless, peaceful, and cosy – just what we needed after long, rainy hikes. The hosts were lovely and super helpful, and the quiet atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Really lovely little cottage, very peaceful location and stunning views out the back. Kitchen beatiful and stocked with the essentials (salt, pepper, oil, plenty of pots and pans). Only slight downside would be a very squeaky bed, comfortable enough but noisy.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, with walking from the door and useful nearby amenities in Strachur. The space is well thought out and the garden and seating lovely to enjoy a cup of tea in the sunshine. The bed was lovely and comfy and the shower was great too! Well equipped kitchen for self catering, we also tried The Creggans Inn and had a lovely meal there especially the local seafood. Highlights for us were walking the Cowal way from the door toward Curran Lochain which makes a beautiful spot for a picnic and visiting Inverary and castle.

The Fairy Cottage was absolutely perfect!! Hugh met us at the door and showed us around the place, explaining how things worked. It was so neat and clean but very well decorated. Felt immediately comfortable! Speaking of comfortable, the bed was a dream!! Wish we could have spent more time there but next time we will!!

This place is absolutely stunning. Many beautiful walks in the most perfect surroundings. Would go back in a heartbeat! Great hosts, easy to follow instructions for a simple check-in/out. Thanks for having us.
