Cruggleton Lodge, Galloway House Estate

Beautiful, hideaway cottage with stunning sea views, set on the edge of a magical wood. Warm kitchen with Aga, stylish sitting room, two bedrooms and a travertine-tiled bathroom. A dedicated workspace with wifi in this secluded, fairytale house. Cruggleton Lodge is off-grid and has its electricity supplied by solar panels and a back-up generator. There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate.

The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Cosy Galloway cottage - sleeps 5; beaches & walks

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

The Duck House Bothy

Experience rural Galloway in South West Scotland by staying in this carefully restored stone farm building nestled under an ancient sycamore tree. Enjoy the living area constructed from oak beams, sit and relax by the Jotul log stove, and watch a film on the smart TV after a day of walking, cycling or exploring the nearby beaches, hills and forests. Retreat to the mezzanine sleeping area, accessed by traditional bothy stairs. Between May and September farm tours are available by arrangement.

Lovely holiday home with stunning sea views

Set on the harbour front with easy access to the beautiful Isle of Whithorn, the flat is a new conversion in a historic building. From its cosy window seats you can watch the boats bobbing in the harbour just outside, and sometimes see local seals as well! Our comfortable holiday home is reached via its own courtyard and stairs. There are superb views of the coastline from all rooms and free parking. The first floor flat is just a short stroll away from a fantastic traditional pub/restaurant.

A lovely little house in a spectacular location with sea views of the harbour. Stylish and cosy this traditional house has been lovingly modernised and is full of designer touches and original art. The perfect location to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. The Isle is still an active harbour with fishing boats coming and going. A short walk to the pub or the cafe, both serving delicious food! You can swim from the little pebble beach. Tide permitting! A peaceful, scenic retreat.

A well sought after 3 floored modern terraced house in the fishing village, Isle of Whithorn, located on the South West of Scotland. Dog friendly chalet - Isle of Whithorn

Welcome to 4 Laigh Isle, our self catering holiday chalet on the Isle of Whithorn, which welcomes visitors to the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. The Isle of Whithorn is the most southerly tip the Machars and of Southern Scotland. Yvette and I bought the chalet in July 2018 after staying in it , loving it and everything about it.
