Locally, the cabin is a 7 minute drive to fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. You will find restaurants, service stations, bowling, and a bike path . Within a few miles you will also find a movie theater, skating rink, Buckeye Furnace Historical site, Leo Petroglyph historical site, Berlin Battle historical site, Train station Depot.

Horses and exhibitors will be around the facility. There is a horse arena in front and at times you can watch !
