I had booked this beautiful home for our wedding weekend. Shelly was super responsive and allowed us to check in early which was so appreciative. We also had our little dog with us (he was our ring bearer for the wedding) Shelly made it clear that the house wasn’t fully gated and I appreciated this. The place itself is gorgeous, beautiful clean rooms and decor and the greenery was so idyllic. I can’t wait to see my pre wedding photos that we took there as I think they’ll turn out beautiful! Thanks again Shelly, you were so responsive with my questions and so accommodating to our needs.

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

Proactive and helpful hosts. Great surroundings, easy walk to the bakery and the local pub, the Healesville Hotel. Highly recommended.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

Lizzie’s place was amazing! A true home away from home! Lizzie was very friendly, she also extended our checkout time even without asking ! The house is neat, clean, is full of positive vibes! Feeding the birds on the porch was the highlight of the stay ! Will definitely recommend to others !

Fabulous place to get away and unwind. Very private. Everything as described by previous reviews was very accurate and the response from the hosts Jamie and Christine was superb. Always prompt, friendly and clear. Easy to find. Highly recommended on all fronts. Definitely worth going to. Secluded, lots of wild life and very comfortable.

We had an amazing time at Mitch's beautiful property, the house is spacious, clean and quiet at night, beds are so comfy and everything is clean and spotless, Mitch is very friendly and very prompt at responding requests. We enjoy the space so much we highly recommend to everyone ;) Thank you for having us!

Pops place was lovely for a family getaway. With a wonderful decking and massive backyard there was plenty of room for everyone. The home itself had such a nice homey feel and was decorated so well, with so many different places to rest & relax.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

Probably one of the best air bnb’s I have stayed in. The house is fantastic with great appliances, TV’s, showers etc and lovely bedrooms. Only complain is the master bed is a touch soft for my liking! The outside area is perfect and the pool so lovely. I could not fault this place. The pictures do not do it justice!! Thanks for having us, would love to come again.

Great stay! This was a beautiful space to get ready before a wedding in the valley. Not only was there ample space for our group, there were many interesting places to take photos and enjoy each others company. Stacey was extremely responsive to all of our messages, and the stay was seamless. They also gave us a great local coffee recommendation.

An absolutely beautiful home in the middle of a vineyard. Private and peaceful. The pool on a 36 degree day was absolutely delightful. House was spotless and host was super easy to get onto with any questions. Highly recommend for a modern feel but extremely secluded getaway - best of both words

Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

Bryan and Erin's place was exactly as described. It is beautifully set up and very cosy! They labelled all the light switches and cupboards, which was extremely helpful! We travelled with our two Whippets and a 15 months old child. The place was perfect with a backyard and lots of room inside the house for our toddler to run around. I really appreciate that everything is kept inside the cupboards so there are no loose items that our toddler could grab and break. It also has a travel cot and highchair available. A very dog and child friendly place. Bryan and Erin left us a beautiful bottle of wine, which is so appreciated! The communication was prompt and very helpful. We would definitely come back in the future.

Kerrie and Tony were fabulous! Communicating with us before check in and gave us plenty of recommendations. On arrive, we had a cute letter and a basket full of goodies. Was incredibly flexible with checking in early and checking out late. Will definitely be back again!

A very comfortable house. Great location to town and everywhere else we wanted to go. Hosts were very flexible and very helpful. Responded immediately whenever we needed something. Most enjoyable and highly recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful weekend at Sally's house at the foot of Power's Lookout. Very comfortable and just what we were after. Highly recommended.

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

We stay here every year and will keep doing so for as long as Nicole will have us! Amazing place to stay for groups of families wanting to get away. We love it, and so do our kids! Amazing place to create memories and play board games!!

We had a fantastic stay with my mum and 2.5 year old. The house is a beautiful mix of original building and renovated bath/kitchen. It was comfy and homely, with a beautiful welcome basket for the adults and sweet books and some toys for a toddler, we loved it! Great location, close to town and surrounding activities, we will be back. Philip and Helen gave great recommendations and clear instructions, thanks!
