We loved our stay at Michi's guest house! The building is large and well furnished. although there were only two of us, I can see that this would be a great place for families to stay, but keep in mind that the beds are all in one large room. We initially had trouble getting the Wi-Fi to work, but Michi quickly replaced the router and we were online. The house is surrounded by rice fields and I loved seeing large water birds hunting for frogs. And the frogs are abundant, judging by their voices. Although we never managed to see one, they sang us to sleep every night.

Un grand merci à Bushi San pour son accueil, sa cuisine et la convivialité. Le lieu dégage une atmosphère positive très chaleureuse et remplie d’histoire. Je recommande vivement ce logement à quiconque souhaite visiter Kamakura et passer de bons moments.

Such a kind and thoughtful host! Shared local recommendations and help. Very peaceful and quiet. Rural - need to get any food or items in town before driving up. I visited Mt Futago and the beach before driving to Beppu about an hour away. Wouldn’t recommend for tall people as the bedroom upstairs has a low ceiling.

友人夫婦と1歳のちびっこ、私の4人で旅行させていただきました。 別館2階の寝室は階段が急だから、とご配慮いただき、友人家族は本館に泊まらせていただきました。広間を走りまわり、ねんねするギリギリまで本館にあるおもちゃで遊ぶことができて、大満足だったようです。 お布団に湯たんぽをご用意いただいていて、それがほんとに暖かくて、ありがたかったです。 朝のコーヒー、めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです！ 雨降りで、周辺お散歩できなかったので、やむを得ずロケーションは星4個にしましたが、とっても静かで安全な環境だなと思いました。 また泊まりにいきたい場所です！

What a beautiful house, with the most amazing hosts (and the view just cannot be beat!). We absolutely loved our week at Shigeo’s house. It’s very well located, and the house had everything we needed. Shigeo has been so helpful our entire stay and goes above and beyond for his guests. We can’t wait to visit again!

4家族で利用しました！アクセスも良く、備品も十分揃っており快適に過ごすことができました。 チェックイン目的で管理棟に出向く必要がある点は、多少なりとも時間がかかるため宿に直行できればなお良いです。 非常にきれいで快適に過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

fantastico vistas increíbles!

Five stars isn’t enough, the perfect relaxing location! Surrounds are so beautiful and peaceful and the sauna/spa was the best part of our Japan trip. Muto was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, from collecting us at the train station to taking us to the beach, as well as cooking delicious breakfasts and some of the best cakes we have ever eaten. The accomodation is of a luxury standard, but feels very intimate and cozy. Lying in the bath looking out into nature is a truly special experience that we will not forget.

This is definitely the best Airbnb experience I've had ! The studio is cozy and comfortable for two, with a nice reading space on the mezzanine. The bathroom is impeccable, with a washing machine (and a dose of detergent is available :) ) and a japanese bath. The studio is ideally placed, close the the train station and the market, and also from the main temple of the city, the castle grounds and Kenrokuen garden, and the two historical neighborhoods. Finally, Moe is really nice and sweet, welcoming you with a green tea, and providing a lot of information on the city, the surroundings, and also recommandations. We loved it here and can't wait to come back !

Very near of Shinjuku, if you are looking for a stay at less 5 minutes. Metro station is near, restaurants and kombini too

とても素敵なAirbnb滞在でした。お部屋はとても清潔で、設備もすべて新しく整っており、生活に必要なものはほぼすべて揃っていました。細かいところまで気配りが感じられ、とても快適に過ごすことができました。 ホストの方もとても親切で温かく迎えてくださり、おかげさまで忘れられない素晴らしい1日になりました。手作りの餃子や朝食もとても美味しく、見た目も丁寧で心がこもっていました。 わんちゃんたちもとっても可愛くて、癒されました。 またぜひ再訪したいと思える素晴らしいお宿です。

Loved staying at the secret base! This was the last place I stayed during my trip and I’m so glad I did, it was in a peaceful area far enough away from Tokyo to get a feel for the local area but not too far that going to Tokyo regularly isn’t doable. The room was spacious, clean, and the outdoor patio type area was nice to sit at during the rain or at night. Emiko the host is one of the most friendly and attentive hosts I’ve ever had her staff were kind and I felt like they actually cared thank you SPICA staff! Keep in mind the station is about a 15 minute walk on mostly flat ground but Emiko has bikes to use if needed. From Kawaguchi station to Shibuya station is about 30-40 minutes keep that in mind if staying out late for when the trains stop running. I’d also recommend Akabane an area just a 4 minute train ride from kawaguchi it’s a beautiful area with lots of restaurants and shops. I’d love to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo!

Our stay at Shin's AirBnB was AMAZING and truly unforgettable. The home felt like a boutique hotel, beautifully designed with the eye of an architect—stylish, serene, and full of thoughtful details. What made it even more special was the host’s extraordinary kindness and generosity. Shin treated us like close family friends, picking us up from the airport, drove us to the island’s top spots, serving delicious homemade Japanese breakfasts, and even lending us snorkelling gear. Every need was met with care and warmth. Staying here elevated our first time in Ishigaki into something truly special. We left feeling not only refreshed, but deeply grateful. Absolutely beautiful space and had everything we needed. It was on a quiet street but close to lots of great restaurants and things to see. Would definitely stay again!

Nous cherchions à loger dans une maison typique à la campagne et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La maison est bordée de rizières. Le jardin est splendide. Nous voyageons avec nos deux enfants dont un bébé. Tout le matériel était disponible pour eux La communication avec l'hôte s'est très bien passée. Grâce à Google translate, tout est possible! L'hôte était aux petits soins pour nous. Elle s'est même levée exprès pour m'aider à faire des machines avant le départ le jour du check out. Je recommande vraiment.
