The home was very clean and fit seven people comfortably. The host thought of everything, and anything we needed was in place ready to go. Bicycles were in excellent condition and the pool was so much fun with the family. There was a closet full of games and lots of thoughtful books and movies for all ages throughout. The host provided advice on how to get the most out of our stay in the area.

We really enjoyed staying here! Beautiful home that we all loved. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The only thing we were bummed about was that the pool was not heated (We assumed it was since it was available all year long) but after looking at the listing again it did not indicate that it was heated. Alvin was a great host and was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful weekend on St. Simon. Went to celebrate our daughter and her fiancé. Great location, plenty of room for our family and friends. Beautiful screened in porch where we ate breakfast and were able to visit with everyone. Thank you for a great Easter weekend!

Our family of four stayed at the Mint Julep for our spring break week in mid-March and it exceeded every expectation. The house was perfectly furnished and the layout worked great for our pre-teen kids to be on one side in the bunk room with their own bathroom, and for us parents to be on the other side of the house with an en suite. We enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee and the kids used the pool every day (we were glad we requested it be heated, definitely a must for March as it was still in the 60s some days). We also enjoyed the firepit and outdoor TV. You can’t beat the location. We walked to dinner and breakfast daily, and my husband ran the trail right outside the front door every day too. We hope to be back again next year.

Our group had a fantastic experience staying at Derek‘s home. Highly recommend! It’s within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants, there is a golf cart on site that you can rent daily, fantastic pool, plenty of space for a large group of friends/family. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Home was nicely decorated, very comfortable and felt like home. The location was walkable to the beach, shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Great spot! Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and great local restaurants. We stayed for a week and we would definitely keep this rental in mind for any future SSI stays.

We loved our stay at this wonderful home on Jekyll Island. We were close to everything — the beach, restaurants, wetlands, music, the conference center, downtown, and the historical district. The place is well designed with all the amenities and plenty of room to stretch out. We highly recommend this home on Jekyll Island and would not hesitate to stay here again. The hosts were gracious and responsive.

This was such a great place to stay for our short visit to GA! The house was adorable and the perfect size for our little family. We especially loved being able to sit outside at the table for meals and sitting on the porch swing. The area was quiet and it was an easy walk to the village nearby. There is an airport right behind the property, but it was not a problem at all. We enjoyed occasionally hearing the planes, and it never was loud enough to interfere with our sleep or our baby's!The kitchen was fantastic and a perfect set up for being able to cook for the meals we wanted to. The only negative was that the floor was a bit grimy. I only noticed since my daughter is still crawling, but she had noticeably dirty hands and feet after a few minutes on the ground. We would not have noticed otherwise though because it did appear clean! I would absolutely visit again, and I feel confident that we will next time we are in the area!

We booked this house for my bridesmaids and I to get ready at for our wedding. It was beautiful and very clean. It’s in a great location to lots of great restaurants and shops. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had a lovely time staying here! It's a beautiful place to stay with friendly neighbors and walkable to several food places. It's conveniently close to the both Jekyll and St. Simons Island as well as downtown. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch after beach days. Wonderful hosts, place is as described - our dog also approved, there's a great little park behind the house to go out. We will definitely be back in future!

Great house, great host, easy to communicate with

My family and I enjoyed a getaway trip to Jake’s place & will definitely be back! It was our first time to St. Simons and it could not have gone smoother. Our golden retriever had a perfect fenced in yard to play, and we all enjoyed how easy the walk to the beach was. The house is very pretty, clean, and makes you feel right at home. Along with a peaceful neighborhood makes this place 10/10! Jake is an awesome host and will help you out with whatever you need! Highly recommend booking!!

Great house, large, homey, comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Would have been nice if the pool was ready for swimming.

Darien has always felt like a home away from home! This is the first time we’ve stayed at John’s place, but we fell in love with his little home. We hope to be back in the future!

David's instructions were very clear and accurate and we didn't have any problem finding the house or checking.

This is a terrific home and host. easy check in. House was as advertised, clean and convenient to so much. House layout is great with living area separate from sleeping areas. Beds all very comfortable, 4 large bedrooms and 4 baths as well. this is a great home. I highly recommend this home and host.

We loved the covered porch and tons of fenced yard for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the descriptions for the house were all very accurate. My husband was able to run meetings with the excellent internet too! Would happily stay again :)

This place was perfect for our stay for 3 months ! Wesley was very nice and the house was a great place to stay . We will be back !
