Shinjuku 5 mins ride, Koenji and Shibuya (just another about 5, 10 mins ride from Shinjuku) or short walk to Shimokitazawa. Yoyogi Park is an hour walk but fun. A real old Tokyo neighborhood with mostly Japanese original residential area with little shops and quaint restaurants and eateries in a friendly casual yet tranquil atmosphere.
