Villa Solbacka is a charming artist's home, built in 1913 and located in Billnäs, just 10 km from Fiskars village. The beautiful windows and other architectural details give the house an unique atmosphere. The house is decorated with solid old wooden furniture, many of them handmade. There are two fireplaces in the house. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony. The building is surrounded by majestetic pine-trees and maples. In the outbuiling there is a sauna and a small terrace.

A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Cozy cottage with authentic private Finnish sauna

Weather you are in the area to enjoy nature or to explore the well known towns/villages Ireneborg in Tenala is a good starting point.   The cottage has a kitchen, living room and bed room, an indoor toilet and shower. There is a garden surrounding the cottage. The front garden is open and you can see other nearby houses, the back garden is made more private with a hedge surrounding it. Viihtyisä mökki järven rannalla Karjalohjalla odottaa sinua noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä pääkaupunkiseudulta. Mökissä on tupa, makuuhuone, makuualkovi, eteinen, pukuhuone ja sauna (n.44m2). Tämän lisäksi vieraiden käytössä on vierastupa, josta löytyy kaksi erillistä pientä huonetta ja nukkumatilat maksimissaan kolmelle. Parhaimmillaan mökin tilat ovat talvikuukausina 2-4 henkilön käytössä, mutta kesäaikaan mahtuu isompikin porukka. Täällä pääset rentoutumaan ja nauttimaan omasta rauhasta.

Terassilta voit ihailla järvimaisemaa tai metsän elämää. Sauna on aivan rannan tuntumassa, veneellä tai sub-laudalla voit lähteä soutelemaan tai kalastelemaan. Talvisinkin pääsee aina uimaan. Pihalta löytyy mm. kaasugrilli ja hiiligrilli sekä nuotiopaikka. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

Detta är en perfekt bas om du vill besöka ortens sevärdheter som tex den populära turistorten Fiskars. (se guidebok) I lägenheten finns två sovrum, vardagsrum med bäddsoffa, kök, toalett med dusch samt balkong. Tänk att i brasans sken njuta av korv du själv grillat. Eller njuta av en kopp nybryggt kaffe ute på balkongen. Hoppas du kommer att trivas!

Mökki sijaitsee lähellä Billnäsin ruukkia, ja myös Fiskarsin ruukkikylä ravintoloineen ja putiikkeineen on pyöräilyetäisyydellä. Puulämmitteinen perinnesauna, joka on vapaasti vuokraajien käytössä, tarjoaa syvät ja kosteat löylyt.

The guest house is located in our courtyard - you can greet our friendly animals and enjoy the welcoming and cosy atmosphere.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
