Our stay at the Strawhouse was most relaxing and had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a couple of families. David's place was very comfortable, well insulated and cozy. the location was off the beaten track and so peaceful, we spotted some kangaroos and beautiful birds! it came with children's outdoor equipment, lots of children's books and games and adults books and movies. The kitchen was very well stocked and made us feel very welcome! Would highly recommend!

Cathy went above and beyond for hosting us. It was a cold rainy day when we checked in. But she made sure that the place is warm. We booked Cathy’s place to celebrate our daughter’s 3rd birthday - and the first thing we found was a beautiful gift left by Cathy! It was so wholesome. The property is immaculate, modern fittings with apt vintage touches. Cathy has a sizeable DVD collection. The kitchen has everything you possibly need. The backyard is great, I need to check that out during summer in future. Unlike many hosts, Cathy is very flexible with check-in/check-out. She let us knew that we can check-in earlier (almost 2 hours before). Same for checking-out! The location of the property is very convenient, with walkable and clickworthy surroundings. I cannot recommend Cathy enough. I know for a fact that Cathy’s place is going to be my go-to pick for my future Orange exploration.

Lovely family sized property set in a very peaceful location and very conveniently located with a few mins to Bathurst race course and town centre. House had lots of thoughtful supplies - such as extra towels, kitchen supplies and games. Felt very homely and comfortable.

Rob’s place was fantastic! It had everything we needed and more. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet street but 30 min walk to centre of town. Rob was an excellent communicator and very proactive with all the details required for checkin.

Wonderful accommodation while travelling to Bathurst.

We stayed at Andrew’s place for 3 nights in May. Absolutely stunning house. Very homely. Great for families. Loved everything about it. Highly recommended and would stay again.

Attended a family wedding in Orange and the property was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful property that housed very comfortably 3 family (6 adults and 7 kids). Lots of space. Kids loved the pool, large jenga, table tennis table and fire pit. Plenty of space!!!! Modern bathrooms, kitchen, ample amount for towels and facilities in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful weekend at 'The Slow Space'. From the moment we walked in the door we felt cosy, welcomed and at home. The space itself is beautifully set up and styled. From linens, to artwork there are thoughtful touches throughout. We loved cooking pizza in the woodfire stove, drinking wine on the deck watching the sun set and sitting by the fire under a blanket of stars. Jo and Scott were great hosts. Very responsive and proactive in curating our experience. In a world where you can do the least... these are hosts that have tried to do the most! Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!

Beautiful property and surrounds. Comfortable bedding and living areas. We didnt realise we had to bring our own towels. No fault of the owners, I didn't see it in the fine print. Bringing back our rubbish was a bit of a hassle but not a deal breaker. Understandable given the location. Excellent communication with the owners. There is a bit of a process turning things on before entering the property but it is well communicated and easy enough to follow. Our Labrador loved the property too. We felt comfortable letting him run around. The fences were great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We'll definitely return again.

5-star experience in Bathurst! We recently stayed in this amazing accommodation with a group of friends and family, and it was absolutely wonderful! The property exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The space was perfect for our group, with plenty of room to relax, laugh, and create unforgettable memories. We loved exploring Bathurst and enjoying all the local attractions. Everyone in our group was raving about the stay, and we can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious, and welcoming spot for your next group adventure, look no further. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely view to the east, with the sun shining onto the bed in the morning which I love. Short drive into Bathurst town centre. Hosts were nice and friendly but not at all intrusive. Might not be suitable just to hang around all day but was perfect to arrive in the afternoon, relax before our show, stay overnight and then have a leisurely departure next day.

My wife and I have been here twice, we have really enjoyed ourselves both times. The place is really in the bush, we saw more birds and wildlife here then in other sections of the gardens of stone national park. The bell birds in particular make for lovely background noise. The place does look a bit a older but everything has been well cared for and very clean. Being in the bush, you may experience some little bits of wildlife entering the cabin, however that's a selling point. 😉 We would go back for a third time if we do another small getaway, because it is calm and serene with a nice walk where you can just relax and enjoy the natural environment. We saw both Kangaroo's and Wombats as well as many different bird species on the property. Just be aware that this is remote, so outside of the capertee royal hotel and the Salami man at Cullen Bullen, dining and restaurants are a bit further away. I recommend this place if you are after somewhere you can just relax in nature.

This is a beautiful property. Possibly the most tastefully decorated AirBnB I’ve stayed in. The perfect host and fantastic location really made our trip one to remember. Thank you Stephanie!

Georgina went over and above for us as we were left without a place to stay due to a double booking. with very little accomodstion left, Georgina scrambled to get her beautiful house ready for us at the last minute. very grateful for her help. couldn't fault her beautiful house and the location. when in Bathurst again, we will definitely book here again.

Sarah is a wonderful host. Always responded to my messages quickly. The Bunker is so comfortable and clean. We were amazed at how the Bunker was so well organised, comfortable, cosy and had every feature you needed. The fenced yard was great for our dogs as was the doggy door. We had a wonderful weekend in the area .🌹

Sarah and Peco are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and their hospitality was next level. We really appreciated all the ways in which they made us feel welcome and at home on their property from bringing us drinks to inviting our daughter to play at their house with their kids. We enjoyed feeding the goats and horses and seeing the sheep and cows and of course collecting eggs in the morning. The kids loved riding the golf buggy too. The playground out the back provided hours of entertainment. The listing was very accurate and it was a 5min drive to the city centre which was convenient. If you have kids and want to be near Bathurst, this place is perfect!

Potters Cottage was incredible! We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the cozy cottage, the birds, the serenity and the privacy. The cottage was comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It felt like Anya had gone above and beyond to create a unique, curated space with beautiful furniture, art and decor. Reading in front of the fireplace at night and waking up to a picturesque and scenic view full of native birds and kangaroos right in front of the house was very special. We felt very welcome and well looked after. Anya provided lots of helpful information and advice. I can highly recommend a stay at Potters Cottage. We did not want to leave! Thank you for having us!
