No TV. Winter Heating/hot blankets. Rhodes is the only complete village in S.A. that is a National Monument.

The Old Workshop and Tool Box at Mount Melsetter

Mount Melsetter is excited to introduce The Old Workshop. Lovingly renovated and restored to embrace it's heritage, this little gem provides the perfect stopover and Karoo experience. Exquisite sunrises and sunsets, an abundance of Blue Cranes and the wide open skies of the Karoo make this an ideal retreat. The Old Workshop has one bedroom (king bed) with an en suite bathroom. The adjoining Tool Box has a double bed and bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and Braai. Meals provided on request.

The Cobblers is a studio type accommodation which combines the living and bedroom area in one open plan space. There is a separate area for the kitchen and bathroom. It has wooden flooring and a Queen Anne fireplace for those chilly evenings often experienced in Rhodes. The side veranda area has breath taking view of the Carlisle Hoek valley. Die Tuinhuisie is a comfortably furnished self-catering unit for 2 people in Elliot. The unit comprises of a bedroom with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, an electric frying pan, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Outdoor braai facilities are provided, and covered parking is provided behind an electronic gate. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
