The Oyster Chalet

The Oyster Chalet is a little spot to stay to enjoy the quiet bush and its surrounds whilst staying on a waterfront property. You will be staying in a 2 bedroom apartment above an old boatshed. We are situated at the end of a quiet gravel road, deep in the bush and look over and have access to beautiful oyster cove. The property is a peaceful bush paradise, whilst being on the doorstep of bruny island, the D'Entrecasteaux channel and all the boutique food, art and wine experiences in the region

The guesthouse is located in a secluded valley within Huon with panoramic views of Grey mountain, part of Snug Tiers. It is 8 kms from Cygnet, historic town and 15 mins drive from Bruny Island Ferry. Built for sustainable living using passive solar design and strawbale infill along with local timbers such as Celery Top pine. It is a magical space where peace and tranquillity is enjoyed but with the comforts of modern living. We have Skylink for reliable Wifi and Telstra mobile coverage.
