Aviemore, Kincraig, Kirkbeag

Kirkbeag, an old church converted to a very high standard, is located on the Aviemore side of Kincraig, nestled in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It is ideally suited to big family groups. It sits beside the B9152 within walking distance of the village pub & close to Loch Insh Watersports Centre and all the activities available on Alvie Estate. It has a large garden set in forest with direct access to the Speyside Way which provides cycle/walking access to Aviemore (all offroad).

Little Birch Cabin (STL licence number Hl-70188-F)

Little Birch Cabin is surround by fantastic scenery and wildlife. We are beside the RSPB Insh Marshes nature reserve and the beautiful Cairngorm mountains. The cabin backs onto a large forest leading into Glenfeshie the Cairngorms and beyond. Red Squirrels, Badgers, Pine martins, Crested Tits and many more are frequent visitors to the garden. Loch Insh is 3 miles away. Highland wildlife park is a superb nearby attraction. It is an ideal location for all nature lovers, walkers and cyclists.

The Old School, Insh

This self catering cottage was originally a rural school built about 1830. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Insh in Strathspey with the Cairngorm Mountains on one side and the Monadhliath Mountains to the west. The cottage adjoins the famous Insh Marshes Bird Reserve. There are several good golf courses nearby. fishing is also available and the whole area is very scenic and perfect for walking. Three miles away is beautiful Loch Insh where water sports are available.

Jacobite Lodge

The Jacobite’s Lodge is a converted 1820 farmhouse in Spey Valley, 1 mile from Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeping up to 10 guests over two floors, it includes a ground floor bedroom and family bathroom, ideal for families and groups. As well as a large kitchen/dining area for hosting. This well equipped cottage, situated in its own wooded grounds is perfect to cosy in by the log burning stove or sit out and gaze at the stars. There are numerous walking and mountain biking routes direct from the door, paddle board in loch Laggan or maybe some wild swimming in the nearby Pattack river. The cottage is the perfect base to explore east or west highlands.
