My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Dave's, the hot pool and pool table were a stand out for us. There's also so much to do in the area, we barely scratched the surface, 100% would visit again.

Stunning Lake Views & Thermal Plunge Pool

We had a short but enjoyable time here during our Easter break. Arrived just in time for sunset, and it was a spectacular watch from the balcony. Unknowingly left a piece of clothing behind, and Bayley messaged straight away after check out which was very appreciated. Will definitely come back!

Tongariro House with Spa Pool

we were a group of 5 doing the Tongariro crossing, the property was in a great location, close to shops, takeaway and a couple of bars. The spa was an added bonus, especially after a days hike, house was warm and the beds very comfortable.

Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The backyard was gorgeous and you can view the lake from here and there are cute lights around the back porch. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach to watch the sunsets followed by the hot tub afterwards! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jailhouse Ridge. The wood burner and spa were highlights for us, along with the stunning surroundings and wildlife. The accomodation itself is both unique and rustic without compromising on comfort. Our hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay agreeable. Can highly recommend!

That's exactly as what we are looking for! Big enough for every of us, open view face to the golf course that we are going to play next morning, too short to enjoy our stays as we've been busy to finish our golf trip in only 2 days inTaupo (Kinloch). We had a great stay. The remote location and wood burning stove plus wood burning hot tub made things feel very cozy and unique. We had a blast keeping the fires going and spending time in the tub on the deck and watching deer and birds go by. Highly recommend the experience!

We are a group of friends stay over for Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The location is not hard to find, and about 30mins drive from Tongariro Shuttle. We also enjoy the spacious home & spa after hike.

Great base to do the crossing from. Spa pool was a wonderful touch. Even though there are neighbouring cabins/cottages it doesn’t feel crowded or too busy. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!
