Kurrajong Country Cabin Seperate from main home

Need a country escape??? Need a place to relax and unwind? No phone, no tv ,no distractions, just sit back and enjoy listening to nature! Our country cabin is located on acerage in the little suburb of Kurrajong a 4 minute drive to kurrajong village. It is seperate from the main house, it does not have kitchen facilities, however we offer a selection of teas, coffee, toaster and kettle. There is a list of local cafes , convenience store, local restaurants a 4 min drive from our Cabin.

The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a cosy cabin in the lush green hills and beautiful vistas of the Hawkesbury region north-west of Sydney. The cabin is built on the side of a hill and looks directly into a small forest of eucalypts - perfect for trying to spot one of our regular koala visitors. It is 200m past the main house on the property, and completely private. Curl up with a book, feed a donkey, pour a wine, cuddle a corgi, or sit on the deck take in the country. It is a million miles from care.

This is an entire unit that is attached to our home but it has its own front and back doors. This is an excellent spot for bird viewing and walks along the Hawkesbury River. Nestled on a large bush block in the lower Blue Mountains is this secluded, self-contained studio with lovely views and access to a 9-metre swimming pool. The beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park beckons, with Florabella Pass and other spectacular and often quieter bushwalks starting just at the end of our street. The studio is conveniently located for the cafés and shops of Glenbrook and Springwood, with a local store and a larger supermarket just minutes away.

Coomassie Studio: the charm of a historic property

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber. Beautiful old Church built 1889 and restored

Enjoy the tranquil gardens and the relaxing atmosphere inside and outside the Church. This will be an experience you will never forget. This unique Church has been restored beautifully and is a place to relax and unwind. It is close to local shops, the famous Grumpy Baker, restaurants such as the Lochiel House and an Indian Restaurant, fruit picking from January to June, Cellars doors with local apple cider and much more. It is truly unique.

Lavender House and Alpaca Farm

Lavender House is an alpaca farm in Kurrajong. With splendid views of the Blue Mountains it is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a quieter pace of life. The cafes and coffee shops of the quaint village of Kurrajong are 5 minutes away. Your hosts live on the top floor of the large two storey home with your self contained apartment with all facilities taking up the bottom floor. The alpacas are very friendly and love to be fed by hand.
