Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Welcome to the Lazy Loon! Immerse yourself in the perfect home on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This home is perfect for a getaway with friends/family (4 bedrooms!), or a convenient stop for a few nights as you venture our favorite part of Minnesota. The backyard is fenced out from neighbors, nice privacy for gathering.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
