Just 60 minutes from Wellington, your private suite overlooks Lake Wairarapa and is surrounded by farmland, bush and lake views and includes your own private spa and gardens - a perfect place to escape, gaze at the night sky, and relax. Single nights available Sunday-Thursday, no cleaning fees, a light breakfast is included, and a kitchenette and covered BBQ are available. Palliser Break Beach House - Ngawi

Ngawi is like coastal communities used to be - friendly and uncrowded. 3 bedroom beach house in the traditional & tranquil fishing village of Ngawi. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax. Bach with amazing panoramic views over Cook Strait & Palliser Bay. Rate is not for the whole house, please enter the correct number of people when booking. (Christmas, New Years & Big 3 bookings must be booked direct, due to restrictions we encounter). Long weekends are min 3 nights.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Loburn Bach Accommodation No:1

Our Property is located in the Village of Lake Ferry, South Wairarapa. We have 2 separate Bach's on site - Bach 1 Separate Bedroom with an open plan lounge/kitchen - Bach 2 Studio fully open plan We live on site at the rear of the property. Other points to note: (1) Internet coverage in the Bach's is limited due to the location (2) Onenz (ex Vodafone) - there is next to zero coverage in the whole village. (3) Electric Vehicles - we do ask for a koha/donation to charge your vehicle

Prairie Holm Rustic Cabins

Secluded rustic cabins nestled among five acres of regenerating native garden. Prairie Holm Farm is a working farm located along the edge of Lake Wairarapa and foothills of the rugged Remutaka Ranges. Accommodation consists of a generous sized lounge/kitchen/bathroom cabin and a DETACHED bedroom sleeping cabin. The bathroom is a unique "camping style" room giving an open air feel. NOTE: Prairie Holm is a working Dairy, Sheep & Beef farm - NO Pets allowed & NO Wifi available.

Hamden Estate Cottage

Enjoy a stay on our Martinborough vineyard. The cottage is nestled amongst the vines and offers a peaceful retreat from the city. We are 8 kilometres from the centre of Martinborough heading south on the way to Lake Ferry. You can enjoy a leisurely wine tasting at our cellar door with David who is always happy to talk wine. We will also transport you to Martinborough so that you can spend the day investigating local wineries or dine at one of the town's fine restaurants.
