Although complete with all the modern amenities (100Mbps WiFi & Smart TV), I encourage you to take a step back and embrace simple living as inspired by Thoreau's novel "Life in the Woods". This charming cabin features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a vintage oven and cooking essentials, satellite WiFi and two sleeping spaces (1 king bed and 1 full futon) – a perfect mountain getaway for a couple, small family, or friends. Soak up the history of Kernville Ranch in the all natural cedar hot tub after a day on the river, watch the horses frolic in front of pink and purple mountains. Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.
