COUNTRY CABIN

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin is off the grid; it has solar lights. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood for purchase.

In 1991 the original fisherman's Net Shed was moved from its original 1920’s home in South Baymouth to Tehkummah and then in the mid-1990’s to its current home. Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic.
