Be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a BEAUTIFUL 60 sqm apartment in the 2nd floor of a 2 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in June 2017 (BRAND NEW). It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. Spacious living room equipped with 32'' smart TV and comfortable separate bedroom with 160cm wide double bed. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and high speed Wi-Fi. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped with nespresso machine, toaster, electric jug, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Basics to cook like olive oil, vinegar, salt and sugar are also available. There is an iron and ironing board as well. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer (a nice one :)), toilet paper and shower gel. Charming small private patio where you can start your day with a nice breakfast, have a glass of wine or just relax. The flat was fully decorated by me and my husband Ricky and we manage it ourserlves. Price for 2 people using the ALL the house; includes the PRIVATE patio and you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc. You will get the keys from us personally, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood. We stay reachable during all your stay. :) The apartment is in an area that's full of history and truly represents the heart of traditional Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets to discover little cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and trendy shops that make up this vibrant neighborhood. A stop for the 28 Tram is just 4min away and Santa Apolónia (metro and train station) and Terreiro do Paço (metro station) are both a 7 min walk from the house. The street is in a limited traffic zone - only taxis and residents can enter. If you wish to come by car, you can park at Largo Terreiro do Trigo, less then 100m from the building. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s as extra service - please let us know if are interested. A baby cot is available upon request - please let us know if you'll need it. The Popular Saints Festival is celebrated throughout June in Portugal. The festival in Lisbon is celebrated primarily on the 12th and 13th of June, in memory of Saint Anthony. Across Lisbon's historical neighborhoods you will see colorful decorations, food stalls and live stages to listen to music. As we are situated in the heart of Alfama, during the month of June, specially the 12th, more animation is expected in the streets that surround the apartment and the area will be much more crowded and noisy during this day.

CASTELO, ALFAMA - CASA MENINO DEUS

Dans l'appartement vous n'entendrez que quatre bruits différents : les cornes de brume des navires qui passent sur le Tage, la clochette du tram lorsqu'ils se croisent dans la rue d'à côté (dont le mythique tram 28 qui parcourt tout le quartier historique de Lisbonne). Le troisième bruit est celui des Lisboètes, des merles, des colibris, des mouettes et des autres oiseaux qui s'arrêtent dans l'estuaire du Tage. La quatrième est le bruit des cloches des églises qui se répand dans tout le quartier. Vous êtes toutefois en plein cœur de la ville. L’appartement est situé sur une petite place. Il donne sur la façade de l'église Menino Deus (qui n'a pas de cloche!), la seule qui ait survécu au tremblement de terre de Lisbonne. Sur la place se trouve la plus vieille maison de la ville et l'une des allées menant aux château de la ville. La maison se situe en périphérie d'Alfama, de Castelo et de Graça, les quartiers les plus emblématiques de Lisbonne. Les principaux sites historiques de l'ancienne Lisbonne, en plus du château, de l'ancienne cathédrale, du couvent de St Vicente, du Panthéon, sont tous suffisamment près pour que vous y alliez à pied. Tout autour du quartier, vous trouverez des dizaines de restaurants, de maisons de fado, de cafés branchés, de boutiques locales et les meilleures terrasses de la ville. Tout ceci à moins de 10 minutes de marche du centre ville. L'appartement mesure 70 m² et a été rénové récemment. Il se situe au 2e étage d'un bâtiment datant de la fin du dix-neuvième siècle. Il peut accueillir jusqu’à 4 personnes. Il dispose d'une chambre avec un lit double. Les fenêtres donnent sur les toits de l'Alfama. Le salon a été conçu pour accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires. C'est pourquoi il est équipé d'un canapé-lit pour deux personnes. C'est une troisième pièce qui sert de salle à manger et de salle de lecture. Cuisine entièrement équipée et salle de bain (avec douche). Les serviettes et les draps sont bien entendus fournis.
