Welcome and enjoy our picturesque cabin nestled in the beautiful meadows of the two highest peaks in Colorado! Where you can hike the highest 14ers! Fish the gold medal water, that are only 100' away. You're just minutes from Turquoise and Twin Lakes, where you can fish, boat, or enjoy all the water sporting activities the lakes have to offer. If you're a hunter, you're in the prime location. Skiing!!! But if you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, you couldn't have picked a better place!

Grandpa's House

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

We have installed new carpet, paint, mattresses, doors, and furniture. Located on a wooded lot outside of town in a quiet subdivision. The house is 3 miles from downtown Leadville, 5 miles to Turquoise Lake and 10 miles to Ski Cooper. Skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and mountain biking. You could also drive to world class ski resorts (Vail, Copper Mountain, Frisco and Breckenridge) in under an hour. Lake County License 2026-097
