Lovely place just few steps from the water. Close to restaurants and the main street. Cozy apartment. Andrew has allowed us to check in earlier. We would gladly come back.

A lovely top floor flat right on the High Street and close to the beach. We had a glitch checking in, but this was swiftly fixed. Great location so long as you're happy to climb stairs, and don't mind a little bit of noise on a Saturday night

Sea View is a comfortable flat which is in a perfect location for visiting family in the Southend area or exploring this part of Essex. The flat has a lovely view across to the River Thames estuary. The flat has two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom with hot shower and a comfortable lounge / dinning room. The flat is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is parking for a small car with off road free parking for something bigger. The flat is easy to access with clear instructions for the key pad and with using the heating etc. The flat is in a good location for many tourist attractions in the area and within walking distance of local shops, pubs and the shore line. Trevor is a very helpful host who provided lots of information and advice prior to our visit. He was very understanding when we reported an minor accident to a furnishing and we resolved the issue amicably. Thanks Trevor and our apologies.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful Georgian garden flat and felt very at home. Antony is super friendly and sent a detailed welcome pack ahead of time including tips for things to see and food recommendations. The kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook for ourselves) and generously provided lots of bits and bobs including milk (soya as well as regular), bread and juice. The garden front and back is very pretty and lovely to sit out in. The wifi was powerful enough to watch shows on our phones, although it was nice to read/play games and not just sit in front of a screen. Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to explore Sheppey (particularly if you want to visit Elmley reserve but stay somewhere homely and cheaper!).

We had a lovely Easter weekend stay here, the flat is bright, clean and easy to walk to the station, beach and various pubs & restaurants. Bernadette is a great host, responding quickly to any questions. A water bowl was left out for our dog which was a nice touch and made us feel right at home.

We had a really lovely stay at Christine’s. The studio is lovely, and a really clever use of space - was perfect for the night. Christine was a lovely and very responsive! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

what a great quirky place, when you enter into the kitchen/breakfast area it looks compact but upstairs feels a lot bigger. would definitely return if coming back to Southend.

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

We primarily chose Slip Cottage for its location and private parking, as we know parking in Whitstable can be difficult. The cottage was just minutes from the sea front and surrounded by nice Independent shops and galleries. There were so many places to eat that we only used the very well equipped kitchen to make cups of coffee! The location is down a private lane, not a through road so very quiet. The neighbours were very friendly. Although only a double, the main bed had a really good mattress and was very comfortable. All the furnishings were good quality, with twin beds in the second bedroom. With two full bathrooms there was a choice of shower or bath, plus a downstairs loo as well! Stephen was a great host offering lots of advice about favourite places to eat. He also kindly texted once the cottage was ready so that we could go in earlier than the published arrival time. All in all a great find which we would happily return to.

We have been staying in Whitstable for many years and Emma’s house is the best so far! So private, safely tucked away behind secure gates. And yet so central - next to a great children’s play area and a short walk to the beach and High Street. The house was so clean that we questioned if we were the first guests to stay there. Emma was so proactive with her comms and left us a lovely welcome gift. If you get the chance to stay in this wonderful house, take it. You really won’t be disappointed!

Cottage exactly as described cosy, comfortable and very convenient for parking, shops and wonderful walks. Johanna provided excellent and very useful information re walking routes and good eating! Perfect location for keen walkers wanting level and safe walking routes!

Perfekte Unterkunft in Whitstable. In der Ferienwohnung fühlten wir uns gleich wie zu Hause. Ein kleiner Co-op, ein Fish & Chip Shop sowie ein chinesischer Take Away ist innerhalb von 2 min zu erreichen. In die Innenstadt und zum Strand kann man bequem laufen. Natürlich durfte auch ein Tagesausflug nach Canterbury nicht fehlen. Wir sind mit dem Bus gefahren, da die Haltestelle quasi vor der Tür ist. Ein Bonus ist der Parkplatz. Unser Auto stand die meiste Zeit, da die Wohnung so zentral liegt. 5 Sterne für die Wohnung! Mir ist nichts negatives aufgefallen 😊

Beth's place was amazing, we really enjoyed it there, so homely and comfortable. Everything was so clean, lots of extras provided too. The location was brilliant short walk to the sea, local shops, pubs and eating places, the harbour is about a 15 minute walk. Bus stop 2 minutes walk away and the train station is within easy reach too. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Beth 😊

We had a fantastic family stay at 3A Seaforth Road in Southend. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was great having a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room for the kid to play and unwind. The location is ideal – close to the beach, parks, and local shops, but still peaceful and quiet at night. Parking was easy, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back for another family break and highly recommend it to other families visiting the area!

I am a heavy travellers . I stayed so many places before. Hotels or flats. Aniesha’s flat is like a five star hotel suite! Very modern and stylish. The building is only 1.5years old. Very clean and the location is very convenient just in front of railway station and near supermarket and shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. It makes me feel like home. Thank you Aniesha! Aniesha is a very nice host. I already look forward to coming back again! Wish a merry Christmas and Happy new year.

This is a really lovely apartment. Comfortable and very nicely decorated with everything one would need for a lovely long weekend. Worth noting that the ceilings are very low even for us (we’re both quite short) and there are a lot of steep steps up to the apartment which was tricky for me at 9 months pregnant. If you’re very tall or have any mobility issues this probably isn’t the place for you, but otherwise it’s a gorgeous little find.

Beautiful property with excellent amenities. Very close to the high street and all the shops and restaurants. Parking space was secure and a real bonus! Tessa and Jim were very responsive to queries and kept in touch throughout. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring Whitstable. Five star property and host.

It was our first time in Southend. We loved the flat, it was nice and cozy and the outdoor space was a plus. Daria was very friendly and responsive, very good communication throughout. Location was central, in walking distance to the train, the pier, the beach. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. We had a great time. Thank you!
