Beautiful historic 4 bedroom, 4 bath home within walking distance to shopping, bars/restaurants and all that downtown Muscatine has to offer. Enjoy sweeping views of the Mississippi River from several vantage points in and outside this home. The 3000 sf interior offers many places to gather and relax. The house has everything you need for your rustic getaway. There is also a convenience store/gas station in town and 2 bars/restaurants. Bring your boat or jet ski to the launch just down the road on the Mississippi at one of the public launches at the riverfront park and campground.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
