Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. If you want to go a little further away, It is easy to get to Kings Cross taking the Thameslink from Charlton station. They run one an hour. Coal Drops Yard has many shops and stores and is designed by Thomas Heatherwick.

Recently re-developed, Kings Cross is now one of the hottest places for food, drink and general scenery (must visit the canals)

Access to most tube lines. I recommend using the entrances on Euston Road as they are closer to the platforms. When you use the victoria line, piccadilly line, or northern line travelling north to Kings Cross, make sure you are in the back carriage as this will make it easier for you to exit.

If you have heavy luggage, you can get the 205 or the 214 bus from Kings Cross (stop E) to a bus stop on City Road very close to the flat: Central Street stop. If it's late at night and Angel Tube station is closed, the N205 does the same route throughout the night.
