Shepherds Bush tube is a 5 minute walk. You can get the Central Line directly to Oxford Circus and over to East London and Brick Lane in a matter of minutes.
Great for buying ingredients at one of the many Middle Eastern and North African supermarkets. If you like cooking, then do check their wide range of fruit, vegetables, spices and herbs available. For Middle Eastern restaurants, try Abu Zaad and Ayam Zaman, but there are many other smaller places, such as Zeit and Zaatar, which is a small Lebanese bakery/cafe. If you like falafel, go to Mr Falafel in Shepherds Bush Market. We work from home and often go to The Hoxton hotel to work, great coffee and food, also great in the evenings for a drink and dinner at their restaurant Chet's if you fancy. There are pubs around the green, such as Brewdog and there is also a big outside bar near Goldhawk rd station, called Hawks Nest. 20 minute walk away, or get a 207 bus to take you, in about 10 minutes. Or hop a couple of stops on the tube to Nottinghill gate. One more stop to Lancaster Gate and you're at Hyde park, I go here a lot, have a walk and a coffee, sit in the Italian gardens.
