There are 2 seperate suites for rent. These are not connected but both open up to a large, private terrace surrounded by gardens. Relax and enjoy the charms of downtown Mystic. Located on the historic property of Captain William Morgan, an 18th century sea captain, this private Carriage House is situated just a 1/4 block from downtown, in the heart of Mystic, but also quiet & secluded. The larger suite sleeps 3 with a king bed and smaller full size futon. The smaller suite has a king bed.

The Master Bedroom

Welcome 2026! We've been through a snowy, cold and gray Winter but 48 Vauxhall is ready to welcome you warmly. New linens, new pillows, new porch details and as always, sparkling clean. For the Summer of 2026, The Master Bedroom will become a lovely suite of rooms. The description describes the suite as having three beds and sleeping four. There is a queen-sized bed in the main bedroom and a daybed/trundle in the adjoining sitting room. Very spacious. And an en suite bath.

Rustic decor in a serene quiet dead end. There is no smoking allowed in the home. The front porch and upstairs bedroom deck area is always lit up with chairs for you in the evening. There is a refrigerator, tea, and fresh coffee available in your room along with a fresh water dispenser. Conveniently located near the train station (25 min ride to NYC), 15 min from JFK Airport, food (Amazing Pizza, Chinese food, & Deli) & laundry service is up the block. No space shared

The Seaport, the drawbridge, the Amtrak Station are all less than a ten minute walk away. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a $60 fee. Onsite laundry is available in the garage by request.
