Lothian : chambres d'hôtel

Gorgeous place and lovely room. Only complaint was the show was in a fixed high position and had to use the shower head by hand. Needs a variable height fixing. Paint splatters all over floor of bathroom and bathroom wasn’t very modern but it’s still good. Room we got was a lot nicer than the one we thought we were getting from photos on listing but it looked like lots of different rooms were on the listing! Lovely view from the room and kettle and tea/coffee bits were really handy in the mornings. Good location right next to beach and good parking. Gutted we didn’t get to try the £10pp all you can eat breakfast. Bar area looked lovely but we didn’t use it. Everything seemed neat and the bed and bedding were very comfy and good linens. Great for a girlie weekend away and would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area. Free bottled water in room was also a nice addition for a room that was only £85 per night! We had a late cancellation on another property due to flooding. We booked this property last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great location, loads of restaurants and pubs. Graham was super responsive and helpful. Parking was a bonus. Only very minor downside was the double bed which wasn’t very comfortable but fine for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

Great stay for two nights, Easy and smooth check-in, the room described clearly like the pictures,expect to share a wonderful living room and kitchen with other guests, breakfast was delicious. The house 20 minuets far from the city center, hosts are very friendly and help me to keep my luggage until my next check in, if you look for clean and quiet places this is the right place, overall it was a good time spending there. They let me to take many pictures for the house and share it in my insta@M4.f.

Just amazing. If you are looking for a good place to stay in Edinburgh stop looking and just get to Cresent House. Beautiful, very quiet, all the comfort you want and really friendly hosts Thank you for having us Michael & Paul. You really helped making our visit an incredible stay.

Чисто, тихо, вода горячая, напор хороший. Была возможность заехать довольно поздно. Не было возможности воспользоваться кухней после 22:00. Это немножечко неудобно потому что иногда нужно положить продукты в холодильник. Зато в самой комнате был чайник. Все остальное было замечательно

Michel is an amazing host: friendly, responsive and honest. We will probably be back ! It’s a peaceful area, nice for a quiet weekend in the countryside. Michel made sure we had everything we needed. Merci beaucoup !

Spotless and comfortable beds, incredibly quick and easy to get to Edinburgh airport

A great place to stay when visiting the Glasgow area. We hadn't been to Hamilton before and the hosts are friendly and helpful, greeting us upon arrival with a wee tour of the hotel as well as recommending places to eat and shop. Hamilton is an interesting and quiet part of greater Glasgow and we had fun exploring nearby old ruins along the River Clyde and found it easy to commute by car into Glasgow to visit family. The hotel was cosy, clean and quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Thanks Rose!
