Choses à faire Une visite de notre ferme biologique, à seulement 10 minutes à pied, dure environ 1 heure. Vous pouvez organiser cela avec nous sur demande (25 € par famille). Les enfants peuvent choisir leur propre salade pour le diner ! Nous avons un petit jardin maraîcher, des poules pondeuses et nous élevons du bétail Dexter biologique de race. Vous disposez de sentiers de vélo, de course et de marche depuis la porte, y compris une boucle de course de 5 km qui vous emmène hors route à travers la forêt et est également idéale pour les promenades avec les chiens. La location de vélos est disponible dans le village voisin de Leitrim. Nous sommes à 10 minutes en voiture du parc d'activités forestières de Lough Key avec ses activités de salle d'évasion Zipit Tree-Top et Boda Borg et ses belles promenades dans le parc. Nous sommes à 30 minutes en voiture des fantastiques plages de surf de Sligo et du Wild Atlantic Way. Il existe plusieurs écoles de surf à Strandhill. L'équitation est également réservable dans la région. Nous serons heureux de vous conseiller à ce sujet avant votre séjour. Nous sommes également à 10 minutes du Kilronan Castle Estate and Spa 4 étoiles avec son restaurant et son spa primés. Le sentier pédestre Miners Way (70 km de sentiers de montagne et de plaine bien balisés) passe près de la porte de votre chalet. Il y a une ferme d'alpagas (Knockvicar Alpacas) à cinq minutes en voiture qui accueille des promenades d'alpagas et des visites de ferme. Les grottes de Keash et les tombeaux de Carrowkeel Passage se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture et valent bien une visite. Il y a divers festivals de musique et d'arts dans la région tout au long de l'été. Achats et fournitures Nous approvisionnons nos propres restaurants de la ferme à l'assiette, les Honestly Farm Kitchens, avec nos produits agricoles. Ceux-ci sont situés à Carrick sur Shannon et Strandhill. Votre séjour comprend une réduction de 10% dans nos restaurants et magasins à la ferme pendant toute la durée de votre séjour. Boyle est la ville la plus proche avec un supermarché, des cafés et un marché fermier le samedi. C'est à 10 minutes en voiture. Dunnes Stores livre les commandes en ligne dans notre propriété depuis son magasin de Sligo. Carrick-on-Shannon possède un cinéma et un marché fermier hebdomadaire le jeudi.

Set in peaceful countryside a short drive from Boyle town and the gorgeous Lough Key Forest Park, our cottage sleeps up to 7 and is the perfect base for exploring Roscommon, Sligo and Leitrim. Lough Arrow Cottage

This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.

The Little (Wee) House

Delightful one bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen/sitting room. The bathroom has a walk in shower. WiFi. Parking , and use of garden furniture. It is located behind our house in the back garden but your privacy is always respected. Ideally located in the picturesque town of Boyle with only a 3 minute walk from shops, restaurants and friendly local pubs. Located 5km from the stunning Lough Key Forest Park facility. Boyle has many attractions like the Abbey and King House.
