Wildcat Lodge Cairngorms Retreat

Wildcat Lodge is a delightful spacious secluded home with a luxury Finnish sauna - the perfect quiet spot to relax whilst exploring the Highlands. Formerly an historic coach house, the converted Farm Steading nestles within the Insh Marshes National Nature Reserve and the Cairngorms National Park. Enjoy stunning local scenery and world class outdoor leisure options. Our four bedroom family home is immaculately furnished in Scandi-Scots style, with spacious living areas, and a private garden.

Little Birch Cabin (STL licence number Hl-70188-F)

Little Birch Cabin is surround by fantastic scenery and wildlife. We are beside the RSPB Insh Marshes nature reserve and the beautiful Cairngorm mountains. The cabin backs onto a large forest leading into Glenfeshie the Cairngorms and beyond. Red Squirrels, Badgers, Pine martins, Crested Tits and many more are frequent visitors to the garden. Loch Insh is 3 miles away. Highland wildlife park is a superb nearby attraction. It is an ideal location for all nature lovers, walkers and cyclists.

Aviemore, Kincraig, Kirkbeag

Kirkbeag, an old church converted to a very high standard, is located on the Aviemore side of Kincraig, nestled in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It is ideally suited to big family groups. It sits beside the B9152 within walking distance of the village pub & close to Loch Insh Watersports Centre and all the activities available on Alvie Estate. It has a large garden set in forest with direct access to the Speyside Way which provides cycle/walking access to Aviemore (all offroad).

The Old School, Insh

This self catering cottage was originally a rural school built about 1830. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Insh in Strathspey with the Cairngorm Mountains on one side and the Monadhliath Mountains to the west. The cottage adjoins the famous Insh Marshes Bird Reserve. There are several good golf courses nearby. fishing is also available and the whole area is very scenic and perfect for walking. Three miles away is beautiful Loch Insh where water sports are available.

Jacobite Lodge

The Jacobite’s Lodge is a converted 1820 farmhouse in Spey Valley, 1 mile from Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeping up to 10 guests over two floors, it includes a ground floor bedroom and family bathroom, ideal for families and groups. As well as a large kitchen/dining area for hosting. Enjoy a woodfired hot tub with views of Ruthven Barracks and a large woodfired BBQ fire pit with seating. Private car park for 4+ cars. Pet friendly – one pet free, £10 per extra pet.

Located just minutes from the centre of the Highland village of Kingussie our family friendly house is within easy walking distance of local shops, the supermarket, pubs and cafes. With access to the mountains on the doorstep it's a wonderful base for holidays and a ideal location to explore the wider Cairngorm National Park. We are pet friendly and welcome up to two well behaved pets.

50thehighstreet is a spacious three-storey townhouse in the heart of Kingussie. Perfect, for exploring the Highlands. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps up to 12 guests, perfect for families and groups. Enjoy a Victorian-style lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with range cooker. There is also a patio with seating and a Kamado charcoal/wood BBQ. Free on-street bay parking outside. Pet friendly – one pet free, £10 per extra pet.

Zippity-Do-Da House has been individually designed and built by your hosts George and Gillian and is set amidst the stunning scenery of the Cairngorm National Park. The split level house is on 5 levels with lovely light and great views. The house provides flexible family accommodation, as well as fabulous scenery and is close to all local amenities. Cinema Room and Hot Tub. Please note: no bookings from Stag or Hen parties.
