Located due south of Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve and just minutes from downtown, Lost Compass Cabanas is ideally situated for those travelers torn between being amidst the culture and cuisine of the city or the nature and tranquility of the surrounding jungle. Constructed entirely of Belizean hardwoods, the Tapir Cabana features a screened-in porch, Queen-size bed, full kitchen, and full bathroom. All furnishings and shelving have been locally designed and made specifically for the cabana!

Our latest Tree House Gumbo Limbo leaves nothing to desire. It has one bedroom with a king-size bed, ceiling fans and an AC. The floor to ceiling windows surrounding the bed give you the chance to wake up in the middle of the canopies of the trees. It features a modern outdoor shower bath with a big rain shower head. The kitchen area has a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Enjoy the big veranda and listen to the birds and howler monkeys from your hammock or watch the starry sky at night.

Enjoy a nice 30 minutes walk to the heart of town and explore our museum, local arts and craft shops or the farmers market for your fresh fruits and vegetables. Our in town mayan temple "Cahal Pech" is also a 30 minute walk from Elle's. Local Taxi services (green plates) are also easily accessible.

Perched in the Treetops over a Natural 9 ft. deep Jungle Pool, our Treetop is fully Screened for Bug free Living! Sitting room on first level and a screened bedroom with small screened veranda on 2nd level. A futon accommodates a child (7 yrs. or older) on 1st level.
