A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Our tiny house in the trees is set amongst the ferns and pongas with seclusion in mind, only native birds as close neighbours. No road noise, off street parking. Nature permitting, you can star gaze while soaking in the outdoor bath, spot the milky way, or our very own glow worms. 15mins drive to CBD and Eat street, Gondolas, Canopy Tours, Hobbiton approximately an hour away.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Enjoy the peacefulness and serenity this unique location has to offer. Enjoy a refreshing swim , relax in the outdoor bath tubs or try your hand at catching a trout. Enjoy the tranquil sound of nature from every aspect. Hot water via gas califont , flushing toilet , solar power , fridge , unlimited WiFi. Note : cabins location requires travelling down a farm track. If track is wet , we offer a vehicle for transportation down to the location.

Waipoua Lake House is a well-apportioned, recently renovated, light and bright bach in a peaceful location. You can kick back and relax with an easy stroll to the lake / boat ramp, lake front reserve or the local shops. “We had a great trip; it was a bonus that we could bring our furry friend Jack. Tidy fully fenced section and a cute home with everything we need.” All linen and cleaning is included ($100 per booking). Aranui Lake House is next door if you need more space - another listing.

Recently renovated with a new kitchen, bathroom, double joinery, large deck, spacious lawn with a trampoline, 6 person spa pool, outdoor heater, bbq and patio fire. Heating and air con inside with two heat pumps. Short walk to the local shops, playgrounds, mountain bike tracks and lake. Plenty of driveway parking for cars and a boat. Situated in a Quiet cul de sac.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

It’s a lovely spot to chill out, great bike storage for the cyclist travellers, central to the shops, lake and cycle trails, great location for walks and bike rides in either direction, situated in a quiet street. There is bike storage with hooks to hang your bikes on, power for the e-bikes in the garage which also houses the laundry and extra fridge.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. The shops are a 5 minute walk away and we are one street away from the lake. The property is fully fenced with loads of off street parking. It is also pet-friendly. It's super cute, clean, tidy and great for a comfortable stay. One room has a super king bed; the other is a queen size. There is a single fold up stretcher bed and linen in the wardrobe.
