Beautiful place to get away from the busy city! Rest easy on the comfiest bed, soft pillows with the sun rising over the water. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

We had a truly beautiful stay and the views were absolutely stunning. We especially loved the relaxing spa. The neat little kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and provided amenities were a thoughtful touch. Mana and Dene were incredibly responsive and always quick to answer our enquiries. I am beyond grateful for the extraordinarily beautiful home and the extra mile the hosts go to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. A weather event tried to hinder our setting but we were so safe and very secure. They gave us use of a vehicle to access the property safely. Breakfast was supplied for us and it was better than a continental buffet. With everything coming from local sources. Cant say enough to express our gratitude. That spa though.....OMG 😍 so good. Could have slept in there. Highly recommend. Im definitely booking again.

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.

I enjoyed my stay, extremely quiet being miles off a main road. water views with a friendly host allowing you access to all of the rural land.

We loved every minute of our stay at Nuku Cabin. Diane was so welcoming and made us feel totally at home. I loved all of the thoughtful detail she has gone to make our dog feel at home also, with supplying a doggy bowl, blanket and bed. The house was absolutely pristine and had everything we could possibly want. My family will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s cabin. The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful view through the large windows — it was exactly the quiet escape we were looking for. The location was also ideal, just a short drive to town and the beach. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin—the view was nice, and we truly enjoyed our time here. It was a great escape from the city. James was very helpful and responded quickly. Our puppy absolutely loved it too! He explored the cabin right away and had a blast chasing his ball in the open area. We recommend it for both humans and furry friends!

Really enjoyed our stay at Clive’s place. He was a great host with lots of good recommendations. Pataua south is a beautiful location and we hope to be back. Cabin was just what we needed and very tidy. Perfect spot for a dog and the beach is only 10m outside of your own private gate!

Tracy was super accommodating. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The continental breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed the rustic vibe with the decor and beautiful surroundings on the farm. We would love to come back. We had such a wonderful stay at Darcy’s tiny house! The space was spotless and beautifully maintained, you can really tell a lot of care has gone into it. The location is peaceful and remote, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the views were absolutely stunning. A special highlight was waking up to a few friendly goats outside the door in the morning! We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape in nature!

Anna's place was easy to find and very peaceful. The comfortable bed meant I got two great night's sleep. I loved the off-the-grid living. Anna is friendly and gave great advice on where to get a good meal after a long day of driving and the BBQ worked well for a meal on the second night of my stay. With no light pollution, the stars at night were amazing!! Plenty of off road parking.

Such a wonderful stay! She was flexible with the check-in and check-out so we really appreciated that. Space was lovely and the area was ideal! She even gave a whole list of recommendations in the area which we loved. Would come back in the warmer months ❤️

We were instantly at home in this lovely little cabin. Everything we needed was available including a very well organized/stocked kitchen. I have a background in natural nutrition and really appreciated the homemade yoghurt and sourdough. It was the best I have ever had. The fresh fruits were grown right on the property. It is a truly idyllic spot amongst the native plants, birds and farm animals nearby. I can’t say enough. I managed to do some yoga out on the deck went to the beach and met a Captain Cook pig in the same day! Feeling grateful for the chance to stay here. With a full heart we are headed home.

The Airbnb is fantastic! You have your own lovely hut and garden and feel completely private. Yes the toilette is outside but it is only 1m from the entrance and it is really nice like a seperate room, not a big deal. It was super clean, too! Sarah was also really nice. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay at this Airbnb in Wharehine. The location is quiet and secluded, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the sunsets—uninterrupted views and a great spot to sit back and enjoy the evening. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well set up with everything needed for a hassle-free stay. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, but also gave plenty of space to enjoy the place in peace. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape with great views.
