Vala's Vacation Rentals 1,2 & 3 (all next door to each other-each unit sleeps 2) are centrally located in Hamilton's, Long Island, The Bahamas. Our island is 76 miles long and 7 miles wide; a rental car is a must. To enjoy the island; swim in the beautiful turquoise waters or shrimp hole, take a boat tour to swim with the pigs or fishing, picnicing, snorkeling, site-seeing tours at the columbus monument & Hamilton's cave; this is the island to choose. Enjoy our native tasty dishes.

The home is centrally located on the island making it easy to explore both north and south. The large, quiet beach is within a cove, offering fairly calm waters to swim. Walk either direction for more beach adventures. Everything you need for a memorable stay at one of the most beautiful Bahamian islands is within close proximity to the home.

You have breathtaking views of the "North Side" which is actually the Eastern shore of the island that plunges directly into the Atlantic Ocean. Mangrove Bush is a small community populated with family members throughout. You will have full privacy and access to a private beach located to the bottom of the "hill", surrounded by cliffs. You truly have to see this location to appreciate it.

Sun Villas: Jellyfish Cottage with Private Pool!

Guest Cottage located in the Mangrove Bush settlement looking out on the bay water, with a balcony and pool. Great breeze, and close to grocery and liquor and gas stations. Fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels and beach towels provided with a limited amount (enough for 2-3 days) of toiletries, toilet paper, and paper towels supplied. Bring your sense of adventure and enjoy a truly peaceful location!

Halcyon

The amazing views at this hilltop setting allows a quiet and relaxed vacation. Beautiful sunsets and cool breeze from the lanai. The home is centrally located making it easy to explore Long Island either north or south. The ocean is a ten minute walk, groceries are a 5 minute drive. One bedroom available by itself for $150.00/night just ask the host! Caretaker lives in separate cottage on property.

Oceanside Cottage

Oceanside View Cottage Quiet, Peaceful, Secluded and a true island life experience with breathtaking views of the ocean. The Home is located on the top of the hill, with a back porch and gorgeous views. There is a hand-cut path in the backyard of the home to walk down the hill to see the ocean - we do not recommend swimming there due to the intense current and rip-tides.
