Lovely place very clean , it is a hill up to it if you have anyone elderly just be mindful car park was grand across the road you have to pay between us all it wasn't much and it's free in the evening till morning , everything was in the house hair dryers etc and everything is spotless great hosts

Wonderful location with great views over the sea and a woodland to the back. Very cosy, warm and well-appointed property with everything you could need (including plenty of torches for navigating outside at night!). Tamsin was a friendly, responsive host who left helpful and clear instructions. We brought our greyhound and found the bungalow and the village very dog friendly. Great pub and cafes right by the beach!

Beautiful cottage which matched the description. Really comfortable and well equipped. Great location for exploring Exeter and Devon. Ann was an extremely helpful and accommodating host, responding really quickly to questions. Thank you very much. Would definitely come here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Tea Hut. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, with the most amazing views. A special place to stay regardless of the season, we were treated to mostly sunny weather (the sunset was incredible across the bay!) but even on a rainy day it was great to look out and enjoy the property. Lots to do in the local area - we enjoyed a good dinner at the Finnygook Inn, golf at Whitsand Bay Golf Club, and lunch at the Cliff Top Cafe.

A truly special place that exceeded all expectations. The reviews are all incredibly complimentary for a reason. The location is beautiful, the interiors are done to such a high standard and the hosts are brilliant. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Looking forward to hopefully coming back in the future.

A cosy holiday home in a lovely spot. Had everything we needed for our family weekend. Kids loved the beach. Host was really helpful. Would look to book again.

5 Stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Above and beyond and much better than expected... The photos don't do Viddy Lodge justice. The lodge was well equipped with everything we could want or need for our Holiday. It was such a comfortable, peacful place to stay and a perfect layout for a Family. The furnishings and decor are of really nice taste and high quality. Location was perfect for us to use as a base to travel around Cornwall. 25min drive to Bude to watch the sunrise. 15-20min drive to Boscastle or Tintagel which we managed to squeeze both into 1 day. 45mins to Newquay for a day trip. The lodge worked really well to go off and explore from. Check in was smooth and easy to understand. Communications were quick and friendly. We will definitely stay again next time we are heading to Cornwall. It really was comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We loved every part of our stay at The Nest, Swallow's Flight. Lucia was the perfect host and welcoming from the out set providing useful accommodation info, a welcome guide and detailed arrival instructions. On arrival we felt immediately at home from the chalk written welcome sign and thoughtful extras including tasty local cookies, Salcombe chocolate, a lovely bottle of Cava and the most delicious (and most local milk) we have ever had from Coleridge Farm next door. Every detail had been thought of in the design and layout from guides, maps, to wood for the fire and toiletries and kitchen items, everything we should need or want. We felt so comfortable and cosy during our stay and couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our Anniversary. I already miss the gorgeous window seat with cosy sheepskin, cushions and sunlight streaming in, the perfect seat for the morning coffee whilst bird watching! We only wished we had booked longer but hope to come return!

Beautiful chalet in an amazing location. Easy to access from the car parking spot on the road. Incredible views from the living room and terrace. Hot tub was great. All round great place to stay.
