We purchased this cabin as our family's vacation home and wanted to share the peace and comfort it has afforded us with others. The home was built in 2005 in withstood the terrible fires that destroyed a large number of buildings in 2020. Thankfully our cabin survived and the town is rebuilding! The cabin located right off of Highway 22 across from Detroit Lake. The cabin is surrounded by trees on a quiet dead end road. Has heating and air conditioning, as well as high speed internet. *no pets

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Trade in the city sounds for the tranquility of Abiqua Creek. You'll enjoy the newly remodeled cabin located between two favorite local swimming holes. Please note that access to the river is less than three minutes down the road to the right/left of the cabin. This home features a fantastic front porch to drink your coffee on and a large backyard! Both Silver Falls State Park and Abiqua Falls are under 20mi from this location and worth the trip.

Cabin by the Santiam River, Recreation & Hwy 22

Located near Hwy 22 in Mill City (30 miles from I-5 & Salem) The cabin was the original home to the Charlie Stewart Family in 1949. Updated in 2022. It comfortably fits 2 adults & 1 child. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Walking distance to parks, river, store, bar & grill. RV parking on request. EV charging available with advance arrangements only.

Enjoy your own outdoor patio space, on our 40 acre family hazelnut farm. Full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and gas range. Bedroom w/ queen bed, wardrobe and desk. Bathroom with shower. Dogs on leash only.

Cabin 2 is near the communal lodge (bathrooms, showers, kitchen, living & dining room) and has a small porch overlooking Trout Creek. Features a floating frame queen size bed, in-wall heater, insulated walls and floors with paneling, electrical outlets, chandelier lighting, headboard with built-in reading lights, porch chairs, small desk, luggage rack and USB and USC charging ports by the bed. Also has access to the newly completed Bath House with Cedar Sauna and Cedar Hot Tub!

Hillside Hideaway Cabin Retreat

There is a vintage wood stove with wood included for your entire stay. The cabins don't have running water but a sink is available on the back porch of the farmhouse and picnic tables in the back yard. The restorative sights and sounds of wildlife will be accompanying your retreat!
