Drink pure artesian spring water while listening to abundant birds and sitting on your veranda. Go for a bush walk in the National Park across the river, go biking, play golf - or visit the vineyards and restaurants for a vibrant time. Surrounded by Nature

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings, except during winter. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

Escape to beautiful Castlepoint with this gorgeous bach, perfectly located on the beach front, just a short walk away from amenities, including the Castlepoint store and fishing club. Safe sandy beaches, fishing, boating and water sports, a nine-hole golf course and hiking tracks make Castlepoint the perfect getaway location. Note: in Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (sheets, towels, dish cloths) and tidy before you leave. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

This lovely, secluded cottage is a mere 30 minute drive from Masterton. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay or go and explore the area. Just a 10 minute drive to Riversdale Beach, a 15 minute drive to the Tinui Bar and Cafe and a 35 minute drive to Castlepoint. Riversdale Beach has a 18 hole golf course , a lovely store to go and get Fish and Chips, a sand beach with lifeguards and good beach fishing. There is a children's play area to keep the littlies occupied.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

A lovely two bedroom Lockwood bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge. A great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.

RIVERSDALE BEACH FRONT A FRAME - Welcome

This quirky beach side A frame sits right on the sand dunes. Great outdoor furniture on both sides of the house, double BBQ, fire for the winter, dishwasher, washing machine, and only steps from the beach. Perfect for families in the summer or a romantic getaway for a couple in the winter. The view from your bed upstairs is gorgy! . Sorry, not suitable for under 5's because of the spiral stairs. No parties or groups thanks.
