The place was beautiful. It was a bit hard to find but we eventually found it. Everything was clean and even had extras of everything. The view was absolutely perfect and it was a quiet place. The rooms were a bit hot, though.

Kristen and Chris' place is a hidden gem! The unit was comfortable, spacious, private and exceptionally clean. It was conveniently located to many shops and restaurants as well JMU's campus. There was ample street parking. While it is a basement apartment in an older home, I could barely hear anyone walking upstairs. I highly recommend their place and will be staying there again!

This is a gem of an airbnb! The perfect place to overnight on our journey from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Getting there and getting in couldn't have been easier. Helen was proactive about sharing relevant information and very friendly. Though we weren't traveling with kids, I can see that this would be a perfect place for a family - providing toys and games for all ages. For us adults, we enjoyed an evening chat on the comfortable couches and restful night in our quiet, separate bedrooms. The neighborhood is lovely and feels extremely safe. Parking in the driveway made for very easy load in/out.

Communication with Isabella was a breeze. She was responsive and friendly. Location was good - just a few minutes to JMU, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities - stove, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and coffee machine. There are also washer and dryer which are able to handle big loads of laundry. The bedrooms are comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Even though the bathroom is small, the shower water pressure is very good. Isabella and Lorenzo provided us with helpful information and recommendations of where to eat and things to do in the area. Thank you 😊

Very cute apartment easily accessed from Interstate 81. It fronts on Rt 11, which seems to get a lot of truck traffic at night, but the bedroom is on the back and is quiet. We were in the area for family business and wish we had longer just to explore the area. When we come back to Mt. Jackson, we will definitely try to book this apartment or another of Donna and Robert’s rentals.

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

This lovely cottage is pristine clean. It is peaceful and is on a great location close to restaurants, Massanutten resort, Skyline Drive and caverns.

We had a wonderful stay! The beds were super comfortable, the view of the river was beautiful, and it was so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was a great bonus, and the hosts were very responsive and thoughtful — they even offered firewood, s'mores kits, and emergency toiletries in case you forgot anything. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the place was very clean. There were a few hornet nests around the property (we picked up some spray), and being near the water, there were some gnats — but nothing a little bug spray and a small fire couldn't fix! Tip for future guests: the coffee maker is a Keurig style, so bring your favorite K-cups or your own coffee setup. Also, there are caverns, golf courses, and plenty of restaurants within about 20 minutes. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

A very nice place, cozy and very clean. Even though it rained and we couldn't enjoy the hot tub, it didn't stop us from enjoying it. It has everything you need.

Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

My family and I very much enjoyed our weekend stay at the Cypress House. It is conveniently located just a half hour from Harrisonburg and James Madison University, its close to the Massanutten resort area, and close to the Luray caverns. Pet friendly was a plus for us and there is a large yard for you and the pet to enjoy. The house itself is charming with hardwood floors throughout. Main bathroom with tub and shower is located on the second floor. The kitchen has modern appliances and has a Keurig to use as well. Parking for about 3 or 4 cars should you need it. Host was very communicative and the overall process was very smooth. I would definitely look to stay here again, especially if I were looking to take advantage of all of the outdoor offerings in the area. Also a great option for JMU families during those busy weekends!

Good morning! I was the groom and the groomsmen also stayed there. It was fantastic a fantastic area to do photos and very laid back.

We absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Very nostalgic -reminded us of childhood trips to our grandmother's cabin in the Poconos. The massanutten trail at the top of the mountain was a nice hike. Fairly easy, even though rated medium. Great sights of nature and wildlife. We also spent a day at the indoor waterpark, a bit pricey in my opinion, but the kids loved it. We enjoyed hanging at the cabin, playing on their Wii, and using the fire pit at night. Nearby a fairly busy street around the resort, and houses close by, but still felt very private since we didn't encounter other people. We had fun exploring the woods and having an Easter egg hunt. We would love to visit again. Thanks for having us!!

We enjoyed renting Jackson Hole house. It is our second time being there and the house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The house is spacious and everything was in working order.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We had the best times at the resort! Our place was perfect! So much room and loved having a grill to be able to cook a few family dinners. We are already planning our trip back next summer.

We had an awesome stay at the Massanutten Woodstone condo. The condo was perfect, nicely furnished and very comfortable. All essential items were provided by the host and the condo was exceptionally clean. It was exactly what we were looking for with 2 kids. The location was excellent. Very easy to find and get to at night. The resort was filled with fun activities. Definitely a family friendly resort with plenty of activities for the entire family. We want to go back and we want to stay in this condo again.

We had a great stay! Beds are really comfy. Space is much better than the actual listed photos. It was very cozy and we felt super at home! Kitchen had all supplies- we did not need to purchase anything. Grilled steaks one of our nights and had everything we needed. Definitely priced appropriately. Host communicated nicely.

This pace feels like home! We stayed for 12 days and we never had the feeling of it growing old or not being comfortable. I think we could live there! Our pup did too. Everything about it was as described or better. The hosts were a fantastic family, very welcoming. You should really stay here!

After my first reservation unexpectedly fell through, Jan's immediate response to have the same week available was really appreciated. The Summit views are the best of all of Massanutten, as I have stayed in several different units over the years. And, our upper unit had zero stairs from parking lot to unit door. I highly recommend booking the Summit with Jan!
