With Primary on main, the cottage is equally comfortable for a couple or larger groups.

You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer. Perfect cottage for you and a companion.

Painted Bunting Cottage-Sapelo Island Birdhouses

Visit a pristine, undeveloped barrier island just south of Savannah, where you'll find history - both Gullah-Geechee and Native American. Where Sweetgrass baskets are still hand-crafted and you can visit Indian mounds which pre-date the pyramids in Egypt. Enjoy 7 miles of pristine beach where you'll be one of a very, very few on the beach. It is walking/ bicycling distance from downtown Darien, historic squares, parks, and waterfront as well as shops and restaurants. Kayak and bike rentals are available close by. The home is one hour south of Savannah and 30 minutes to the lovely beaches of Jekyll and Sapelo Islands. This area is certainly a birder's paradise!
