It is surrounded by lush gardens, bird life and serenity. You'll have everything you need to relax, unwind, rest and absorb the Byron Hinterlands and surrounds. It's located in a quiet but central location close to Alstonville, Ballina, Newrybar, Lennox head, and Byron Bay. Our closest beach is Lennox Head and is 10 mins away.

The Barn Rosebank | Byron Waterfall Retreat

The Barn is a private space tucked away on 100 acres of rolling hills, rainforest, and macadamia orchards well away from the main house, with stunning views of the foothills of the Nightcap Range. A perfect spot to unwind, with peaceful walks to a secluded swimming hole and waterfall. You’ll share the land with wallabies, echidnas, donkeys, goats, a cow, 3 calves and our friendly green frog, Frankie. A short drive to Clunes, Federal, and Bangalow, it’s a quiet escape to rest and recharge.

The Shed at Pearces Creek

Rustic, cosy barn style shed, lined with vintage and recycled materials, tucked away on our 50 acre farm in the peaceful Byron hinterland. 30 mins to Byron Bay, 20 mins to Lennox, Bangalow or Lismore. Unwind with a cuppa by the wood fire, enjoy the babbling creeks or stargaze by the outside fire pit. Surrounded by nothing but rolling hills and gentle cows that wander between our paddock and the neighbouring farm. Come stay with us to slow down, unwind, and soak up the calm of country living.

Milton Dale farm stay

Our beautifully renovated original farm cottage in the Eltham Valley, Byron Hinterland is your retreat home. From the ridge position of the home, you will see magnificent views of the Valley, the meandering Wilson River, and peaks of the Nightcap Ranges. You will wake to the beautiful sounds of birds in this tranquil setting, perfect for unwinding from the pressures of the normal routines. Milton Dale is an off-grid, regenerative working farm and you may see the cows grazing in the fields.

Black Cockatoo Bangalow is located in the picturesque Byron Hinterland 5 mins from Bangalow and 15 mins from Byron Bay. Just a short drive from all the beautiful beaches, eclectic events and markets the far north coast has to offer, yet as the only home on a 220 acre cattle farm, guests are guaranteed peace, privacy and a taste of idyllic country life. Native wildlife and birdlife abound and the river which runs around the back of the house is teeming with fish, turtles and platypus.
