We had a delightful stay at Marg and Ian's property. The autumn colours of the garden were spectacular and Marg and Ian were very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The house was comfortable and stayed at a lovely 20° the whole time, giving us a great experience of a sustainable passive house. Close to town (must try Love Lucy Boots for coffee!) and easily accessible to Launceston and national parks for hiking. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A beautiful farm in the heart of Tasmania. The perfect place to stay if you would like to visit cradle mountain and also experience local life. Tim and Pip are lovely and great hosts. 100% recommend to all.

Great views, clean and convenient to Tamar Valley attractions

Karen’s place is one of my favourite spots I’ve stayed on Airbnb. The setting is absolutely magic, surrounded by beautiful nature and animals. Karen was very welcoming and showed us around her property. The apartment had everything we needed and was very cozy. I’d love to stay again!

The most spectacular view. Outdoor surroundings is second to none. Our kids absolutely loved it. Room decor might not be 100% our style but it’s just a personal thing. House was very clean and great amenities provided.

Georgeous farm and wonderfully simple cottage with a wood burner and lovely atmosphere which was private , yet with great walks around the farm . There is an amazing walk close by to a viewing platform overlooking a magnificent gorge. Perfect for visiting Cradle mountain as it’s only about 1.25 hrs drive.

We had the most wonderful stay at Tracy and Quentin’s farm, they are kind and generous hosts, the cottage is beautiful and so thoughtfully fitted out with everything needed to self cater, together with lots of fun and quirky bits and pieces. They are incredibly generous with delicious goodies, beautiful linen and a cosy warm cottage. Unlimited firewood to stoke the indoor wood fire. Feeding the goats, sheep, cows and chickens morning and evening was such a delight. We miss them already! Would love to come back when there are babies to cuddle! Even though it’s only one bedroom, it would be ideal for a young family to stay and enjoy the beautiful farm animals. Highly recommend this beautiful farm, gentle hosts and delightful location. We’ll be back.

Lovely farm stay with the fam. You can tell the owners put in a lot of effort into every corner of this place. Super comfortable and very well styled. Margit was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for the delicious honey and fresh produce from the veggie garden. Had to mention the chickens are hilarious and super chill. Don’t worry about the rooster would wake you up too early in the morning, as he gets up quite late himself! Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and Klara is a great, friendly host. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at Max’s coach house was so wonderful! The house is lovely, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Max is an extremely gracious host who truly went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one, with little treats waiting for us when we got to the Airbnb and also showed us around the farm! All in all, would definitely recommend :)

What a fantastic place to stay, spectacular views and modern, well appointed rooms, each with its own unique look and feel. Sharyn and Pat were amazing, welcoming hosts, we felt really well looked after! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in a slightly off the beaten track location!

Absolute gem, would 100% recommend. We had a wonderful stay. The location is so peaceful and serene, yet a short drive to fabulous wineries or Launceston centre. Shelley was very accommodating and a wonderful host. She purchased a portacot for our baby to sleep in, provided delicious breakfast supplies and even gave us a private wine tasting on our verandah. When we return to Launceston we will definitely be staying again!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The place was spotless and the hosts were friendly and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. We felt right at home & enjoyed the complimentary breakfast!

We stayed at Quamby Home for a special, multi generational family weekend. The house was beautifully appointed, with every conceivable need catered for. The kids room was delightful - just leaving the kids to argue over who had “dibs” on the top bunks. Great outdoor space, with basketball, cricket and treehouse for them explore. Games and DVDs, books. Lots of space for adults and children to escape to enjoy some quiet time. Felt like we had just walked into a family residence, a real home away from home.

There is nothing about Secret Little Eden to find fault with. The house is beautiful and private, with so many interesting and fun things to keep you occupied. Loads of music, books and DVDs to make use of, the wonderful spa under the stars, even musical instruments to have a play with if you’re so inclined. Regrettably we only had one night at Dom’s place on our way through but if we ever find ourselves in the neighbourhood this will be our must stay location. Such a friendly and welcoming host, not to mention all the beautiful animals we got to meet as well. Th Al you again Dom, we sincerely hope to see you again sometime.

Thornby is a beautiful property with surrounding hills and a beautiful landscape. The old farmhouse was beautifully maintained and had everything we required for our stay. The kids were able to wander around, play in the garden and at night snuggle up in the living room with the toasty fireplace and a movie. The property is in a great location. We travelled to Marakoopa caves, cradle mointain and the christmas hills raspberry farm during our stay. Only 30 minutes from Launceston it was the perfect place to base ourselves to explore the area. Ann and Graham were wonderful hosts. The scone recipe and fresh raspberry jam in the fridge was a hit with the kids too. I'm glad we stayed 3 nights as it gave us a good opportunity to really immerse ourselves in the property and it's beautiful backdrop. We would happily stay here again.

Diana’s place was beautiful. The furnishings were excellent quality & the extra touches in supplies were amazing. The best of had anywhere in Australia actually & I have travelled a lot. Diana went out of her way to welcome me & ensure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albion Gardens. It definitely felt like being in a home away from home, and a luxurious one at that. The house and gardens are magnificent; privacy and peace are assured. Will highly recommend to friends and family wishing to visit and stay in Launceston or to those who would like a place to escape to for rest and rejuvenation.

Gorgeous house with gorgeous surroundings, spacious and cozy !

We stayed overnight before heading on to Cradle Mountain the next morning. The location is excellent which is only 45 min drive to get there. The place is off the main track but still easy to find using google map. As the closest town Sheffield is about 30min drive so best to stock up all you need and prepare your own meal. The place offers good facilities to cook your own.
