Colman's Cottage is on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, on the edge of the broads and just 30mins from Southwold and the coast. In grounds of 7 acres with a lake and woodland, it is a haven for wildlife and an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. The oldest parts of Colman's cottage date from the 17th century and have been lovingly renovated. Within a short walk of the cottage are a village shop, pub and Broome Heath for dog walking/ fishing. More shops and restaurants in Bungay just a mile away.

We are 20 mins from Aldburgh Carnival, Lattitude, Snape Maltings and Sizewell. 20 Miles from Norwich . 20 mins from local beaches Southwold and Walberswick 10mins from St Peters Brewery and the Raw milk shed in Flixton where the famous Baron Bigod cheese is made, there are also lots of local produces breads, meats, pizza ,vegetables. 2mins on to Norfolk +Suffolk Aviation museum.

A cosy comfortable retreat (dogs welcome) in the charming historic town of Bungay. Situated on the popular Earsham Street, close to boutique shops, cafes and good walks including the angles way. Swimmers can enjoy several spots along the Waveney, Roger Deakin’s favourite - Bungay Beach. Bungay is located near to several other charming towns including Halesworth and Beccles, while the city of Norwich is 30 minutes drive - as are the beaches of Walberswick, Dunwich and Southwold

Our annex is complete with spacious double bedroom, shower room, lounge & kitchenette. The Annex is located next to the Norfolk & Suffolk Avaition Museum and The Flixton Buck Inn (check online for openings). Flixton is a small rural village, 5 minutes to the historic town of Bungay, 20 minutes to the Norfolk Broads, 30 minutes to Southwold. 20 minutes to Norwich, 40 minutes to Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich. Our central location is perfect for holidaying in Norfolk or Suffolk.

The Studio at Stone House

A unique place with great style, the Studio at Stone house is minutes from fabulous fishing lakes and dog walking trails and a 10 minute drive from the legendary Norfolk broads, It is a two story fully furnished holiday studio with one king size bed on the first floor and an open plan lounge and kitchen together with a separate wet room bathroom on the ground floor. A unique and tranquil eco friendly getaway. This small Oak beamed cottage is suitable for a maximum of 3 persons. The ground floor bathroom is compact, bright and airy. Hot water/heating is provided by heat pump/solar panels and woodburner. Large grassed garden to rear, hammock under apple tree with summer garden room and undercover storage area for cycles. Village brewery Grain have their own taproom which is only open early evening on Friday and Saturdays.
