Charming Home Getaway near Sunday River & Hikes

Our place is a great getaway for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. The house is fully equipped dishes, silverware, pots and pans. We are located right in the historical town of Rumford. Hannaford Grocery - 5 minutes away Walmart - 10 minutes away Black mountain ME - 9 minutes away Sunday River - 25 minutes away Mount Abram - 30 minutes away Sugarloaf Mountain - one hour and 20 minutes away And many more mountain resorts around the area.

Your Maine Base Camp

You have full access to this spacious house. Enjoy the large kitchen with a food prep island, ample counter space, basic cookware utensils and ingredients for cooking and baking. The dining room table comfortably seats eight. Relax in the living room with a TV monitor for streaming your preferred services, comfy furniture, and a pellet stove. One bedroom is on the ground floor and two upstairs. Living room is 4 steps down from other ground floor areas. There are no TV monitors in bedrooms.

Carriage House

Renovated circa 1920 carriage house in a quaint New England college town. Eight-minute walk to busy downtown with restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery store. Elegant contemporary style. Open concept downstairs with sofa, daybed (napping in the sun!), and chef-designed kitchen. Second level with two queen beds and small balcony. Adjoins miles of walking trails and forest, full of wildlife. Less than 5-minute drive to a 1.5 mile running trail along the Sandy River, with refreshing swimming.

This newer House has a private 1-BR above-the-garage with a private back-entrance with a Living-room, Full Kitchen with a 2-person island, Large Bath with double-wide shower and a large BR w/ views of Sunday River as well as Mahoosuc Notch. Perfect for a two-person get-away, in the Western Mountains of ME. Great for Winter Sports at Sunday River, or Mt. Abrams, outdoor activities or quick-access to downtown Bethel. This beautiful private cottage is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of adventure! New, bright and comfortable, this secluded cottage is conveniently located just 40 minutes from Sugarloaf, 50 minutes from Saddleback and 10 minutes to downtown Farmington. Feel free to walk, fat bike or x-country ski on nearly 4 miles of groomed private trails located just outside your front door! Contains a full kitchen for meal prep, as well as high speed internet, and climate control.

Private Apartment in the Foothills! A Gem!

One mile from Route 26! Charming apartment with private locked entrance and separate driveway attached to historic 1880s farmhouse in the foothills of Western Maine. Clean and cozy, it has one bedroom with a queen bed and two sofa sleepers which make it a great spot for a couple or a family of four. We're only fifteen minutes to Mt. Abram and 30 minutes to Sunday River. There's easy-access to snowmobile trails and Moose Pond right across the road. Oxford Casino is 30 minutes south.

Beautiful, off-the-grid, rustic log cabin with outhouse on 10 acres in the wilderness of western Maine. Located just minutes from Webb Lake, Tumbledown Mountain & Mt. Blue State Park. Trails close by. In Maine’s finest hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, , skiing, hiking territory. A perfect place for adventure, romance, celebration or serenity. An escape from the electronic world, the cabin has solar and battery lights but no power generator. (See Winter Conditions below)

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, the views and all the outdoor activities in the western mountains of Maine.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our gardens.

Sunny Studio Cabin Near Sunday River - Hike -Bike

Conveniently located on rte 2 it is 15 mins to Sunday River, Mt. Abram, and the village of Bethel. An easy drive to explore the White Mountains and Grafton Notch. The property was originally part of a potato field, offering wide open space and seasonal view of the Androscoggin River. Bald eagles have been observed on the river and flying above the field. Just past the main house, the guest cabin makes a sunny comfy home base to discover western Maine.
