Black Bear Lodge

We require 24 hours notice when booking. The lodge is 15 minutes from Fredericton city limits in Noonan approximately 2 km in the woods on a private road. It runs on solar and wind power with backup generator. We offer skating, snowshoeing, hiking and boating depending on the weather. Fishing is also offered at an additional cost. There is a stand up shower and sink in the bathroom with hot and cold water as well as a toilet, a propane stove and fridge in the kitchen. Woodstoves for heat.

The Glass House on the Headpond

Relax and unwind at this peaceful waterfront retreat. This brand-new 2026 build offers over 180 feet of shoreline on the Arm of the Mactaquac Headpond. Located 10–20 minutes from the marina, beach, Crabbe Mountain, and Fredericton. We are nestled in the hillside, surrounded by forest & wildlife. Pet friendly during the months of May-October. Great news, the snowmobile and ATV trails are located just 2 minutes from the cottage! When given the opportunity, this is the perfect escape to view deer and wild turkeys! Take an adventure wheeling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing or hiking. End the day with a bonfire and star gazing or snuggle up by the indoor wood stove. You decide it's your vacation to enjoy!

This is a unique lakefront cottage, a quaint rustic retreat. A great spot for a nature enthusiast, stays include the use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, a pedal boat, etc. This is a quiet spot with only a half dozen camps on this end of the lake. Think relaxation, not rip roaring excitement. It is family/couple friendly, not for parties. Quiet lake in rural NB.
