Our 1948 vacation home is on 4 acres & boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 half baths, Bridal Suite (4th bedroom), 70s TV/Game Room, Tiki Bar, & Children's Playroom. Outside we have a pool (guaranteed to be open 5/26 - 9/5) & hot tub (year round). Located 15min away from Downtown DSM & a mile away from a grocery store/restaurants. Up to 2 dogs allowed for an additional fee. ***Events/photo shoots are allowed with written permission only and will be an added fee. No events larger than 25 total.***

The Hen House

The wonderfully remodeled home based on 55 acres overlooking mature trees and a large pond. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Laundry is available to use as well. Kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking enjoyment and a gas grill is offered as well to use. This house is perfect for families, small groups, or business trips. Situated just 20 minutes from Des Moines airport, and 25 minutes from downtown Des Moines, you will be able to experience the quiet and beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Charming Waterfront Tiny House & Sauna

The true definition of rest & relaxation, this unique tiny house is situated on a three-acre pond suitable for catch and release fishing, kayaking, or stand up paddle boarding. Bring your gear and leave your worries behind. Built with special touches and details including stained glass windows and intricate woodwork, this tiny home boasts warmth throughout. Wake up to bird songs and coffee with the sunrise. After a day of fun, take a soak in the wood-burning sauna and relax by the campfire.

Leann and I are your hosts and our goal is not only to provide you with a clean and safe environment but also the opportunity to create lasting memories with friends and family. Our home is adjacent to Terrace Hills GC and you will find outdoor deck amenities that you will not find at any other Altoona area daily rental; golf course views, hot tub, and fire pit! Charming Bungalow in a Great Location!

This 1910 PET FRIENDLY bungalow is full of charm and unique art. Just a couple of blocks to the town square for restaurants and shopping. In the summer you will enjoy the quaint front porch and backyard patio full of colorful flowers nice for outdoor dining. The fenced backyard is perfect for bringing your dog. Small dogs 25 pounds and under require a one time $50 pet fee and dogs larger than that are up for discussion. Parties and gatherings are not allowed without permission and $100 fee.

The Legacy Stone House

The most unique stay in Winterset! Legacy Stone House AirBnB is a historic residence located one mile east of Winterset, Iowa. Built in 1856 during the Settlement Era of Madison County, it is one of nearly 100 stone houses built during that time in the area. Officially named the William Anzi Nichols House, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Convenient centralized location if visiting Madison County’s six covered bridges and two minutes from grocery, gas and dining.

Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

Our little cabin in the woods is a great place for couples to relax, reflect and connect. Nestled on 115 acres of land, there are many trails to explore throughout the woods. Enjoy watching wildlife, laughing around a fire, sitting on the front porch watching the sunset, reading, playing games, and stargazing.
