We are situated on the John Muir way with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Findlay Cottage is the entirely separate annexe of our house with private entry, field and private parking. Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

Cois Loch Lodge is a unique lodge situated in a peaceful setting with magnificent views over Loch Lomond and the hills beyond. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!

Stuc an t Sagairt Cottage, Loch Lomond

Stuc ant Sagairt is a listed building, built in the 1750s. It sits in 7 acres of private grounds midway between the charming villages of Drymen and Balmaha, less than 2 miles from Loch Lomond. Totally renovated, it offers a lovely comfortable lounge with wood burning stove and patio doors opening to the outside seating area and private garden. It has a semi open plan dining room and well equipped kitchen. The Cottage has dedicated private parking .

Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.
