The rustic exterior provides the High Country charm of yesteryear nestled on 30 acres of rural tranquility. 100m from the main residence you have your own privacy. We call this our Cabin but it is a small home with 110m2 living area & 47m2 of outdoor undercover living. 13 minutes from Mansfield & ideally located to explore the High Country.

Whitfield Hideaway creates the perfect getaway. Only 2 minute drive from the hamlet of Whitfield, yet surrounded by bush and wildlife, 3 dams, and incredible views of the stunning King Valley! If you are keen on food and wine tasting, the King Valley is the place for you with abundant Wineries within a 15 minute drive. Or if you are interested in just a quiet stay for two, this is a stunning place to relax and unwind. Drop of and pick up can be arranged to local Wineries. The perfect stay!

Burrowes Rest

A unique hut nestled in the heart of the King Valley. Beautiful mountain views, and your own private King River frontage. Only a short drive or ride to the local wineries, cafes and pubs. Burrowes Rest is a private getaway for couples, friends or families that want to slow down and enjoy a carefully curated space. Regional wine and food shared around the fire, fishing by the river and days spent visiting local attractions, such as, Powers Lookout, Paradise Falls and family owned wineries.

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. Come experience our 'Shed House' - a truly rustic accomodation experience in the High Country.

Cedar Retreat - Semi-detached Apartment

The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal. A place to feel re-inspired, nourished and safe, where the mayhem and inputs of this busy, digital life dial right down. A place to rebuild awareness through listening to birdsong and watching falling leaves play with light and shadow. Where you can inhale the clean, earthy scents of eucalyptus and moss and let the gentle breeze soothe you.

Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

Wild Fauna - Mt Buller Foothills Amazing Views.

Wild Fauna is a large open plan modern house in beautiful surrounds. The spacious living, dining and kitchen area has all the room to spend your holiday with all the family. The expansive deck is the perfect place to spend summer evenings with the local wildlife, overlooking magnificent views and winter nights are cosy in front of the fire. The kitchen is well equipped and has a large social island.

Nestled in the tranquil town of Sawmill Settlement at the foot of Mt Buller, this cosy, fully self contained home accommodates up to 8 guests and is ideal for families or friends wanting to share. My place is just 2 min to Mount Buller ski resort gates and some of Australia's best MTB trails. The Delitite river is a short stroll across the road. My place has stunning mountain views and modern facilities. Relax on the deck with family and friends with an impressive alpine outlook. Enjoy feeding king parrots and cockatoos from the decking whilst watching kangaroos and deer feed on the proper
