Lots of water close by for kayaking/canoeing. ATV trails just a few km away. Firewood supplied. Please bring your own drinking / wash water. Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing.

A three minute walk to Summerville's km long white sand beach and the Quarterdeck Restaurant! Warm and welcoming, this cottage boasts modern conveniences while retaining the beachy charm of a little hideaway cottage, and is ideal for small families, a couple (or two), or solo adventurers. Enjoy the fire pit next to our babbling brook, or take a short drive to White Point Beach Resort for surfing or golf, beautiful Carters beach, or the Keji Seaside Adjunct for a scenic hike and seal watching.

Farmstay Yurt

A simple cozy accommodation on an 30 acre off grid farm in Blockhouse. We are a walk from a large trail system where you can easily walk to the local organic cafe: Chicory Blue for a wholesome breakfast or lunch. This 20'' yurt is set right next to a flowing creek with its own modest kitchenette including small propane oven and a solar fridge. The farm is home to 1 horse, pony, 10 sheep, 2 peacocks, Angora bunnies, chickens, kunekune pigs, goats and a large greenhouse and vegetable garden.

We are just across the street from Saltbox Brewery, with a beautiful patio, frequent musical guests and visiting food trucks. The cottage itself is an open and breezy ,featuring French doors, rustic details and a cozy wood stove- making it suitable for getaways all year long!

Burns Cove cottage is a spacious, fully equipped vacation home. The waterfront location makes it a prime spot to relax, view nature. It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.
